Lovely home and perfect location

Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The location is perfect...close to the town, beaches, and trails, but also quietly secluded for that perfect peaceful getaway. The house was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. Wendy was a very generous and gracious host and made sure our stay was special. We can't wait to visit again

We loved our stay! This place had everything you could ever need while on vacation; kayaks, lifejackets, games, movies, and more. Wendy was responsive and thoughtful! The space was beautiful and peaceful with easy access to many activities. Highly recommend!!!

Our third stay was just as charming as the first two. The beauty of the lake, the serene accommodations and locale cannot be topped. The apartment is so cozy and comfortable. We've stayed in many vacation rentals, but this is our favorite. We'll be back.

We stayed at this lovely lake house near Boothbay Harbor. We had all we needed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kayaking on the lake and hearing the loons in the morning made our trip. Quaint downtown Boothbay Harbor is also less than a 10 minute drive. The hosts were also terrific!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property. The loons serenaded us every night! Everything you could possibly need is there. Great location, 7 minutes to Maine Botanical Garden, mile to Boothbay Harbor. Perfect place to quiet water kayak. I'll definitely be back.

If you plan to visit Boothbay Harbor, you won't find a better place! The lakefront property is very close to town but offers a quiet location in a private neighborhood. Beautiful and bright interior in a natural setting. One of the best places I've stayed at. Great for kayaking and fishing too!

We absolutely loved staying at this peaceful waterfront property. The interior was spacious, very clean and our host provided everything that we could possibly need. This property has such a homey feel to it. It is a real gem and a lovely home away from home.

This is our second stay at Wendy and Jim’s place. Once again it didn’t disappoint. The place is beautiful, quiet, and has everything you need. We enjoyed as much time by the water as we could taking in the Eagles, loons and the occasional seagull communal bath!! It’s so close to town that one could probably walk if they were energetic, but that’s not us. Once again my sister and her fiancé joined us for a few days because they also love it there. Would highly recommend for those that want a relaxing stay. Wendy and Jim are awesome to deal with.

What a beautiful, spacious, ultra clean and close to town place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here for a week and would love to stay here again if we ever come back.

Wendy's place was serene, and immaculate! Every one of us enjoyed this place. From the kayaks to the fishing or just enjoying the peacefulness from sunup to sundown this place was wonderful! The cottage was so cute and quaint with beautiful decor, the shower felt like a massage! Wendy was so kind and accommodating. The amenities of this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to visit, and definitely recommend to others as well! Five star everything!

Very nice location. It was very quiet and relaxing.

This was our second stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boothbay. The apartment is spacious, charming, and well equipped. We loved sitting by the lake watching the birds, and kayaking using the ones provided. In Boothbay our favorites were Cabbage Island Clambake, the wonderful two story bookstore with every kind of book plus toys and games, Mung Bean, an artisan's collective, and eating at the waterfront restaurants. I can't recommend Wendy's place any more highly. Plus, she is super nice and friendly!

Apartment is not how I would describe our place. We felt like we were in our own little sanctuary. Wendy has done wonders with the downstairs of her house. Spending the morning drinking coffee while looking out the French doors to the lake was so peaceful. The huge bathroom with double sinks worked out well when my sister joined us. We spent hours by the water enjoying the wildlife. The place was supplied with everything we needed and showed a lot of special touches that Wendy has put into the place. We are already planning to book again.
