Stayed Sep 7, 2025Property is awesome. Plenty of room. Amenities were excellent. We did have issues with some internet devices with a weak security Internet. We would definitely recommend the stay and access to Olympic NP and Port Angeles.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025Really nice property. Not far from downtown Port Angeles. Nearby stores and restaurants. Long drive in and out of the national park, but we expected and planned for that.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025The property offers a lot of space in the house and out. Location is nice for access to Olympic National Park. It has everything you need, including laundry. A very functional property, albeit lacking in other areas.

Stayed May 17, 2025This was a great spot for exploring the peninsula. Port Angeles had everything we needed. The house was in a fun location with deer wandering thru the yard. Quite a bit of space for us to wind down after hiking. The only thing that was missing was a recycling bin.

Stayed Apr 30, 2025We enjoyed our stay. Very secluded which was nice and long driveway with plenty of parking for our group. The house is dated but comfortable. The lack of TV surprised me. There is only 1 tv upstairs and it only has dvd hooked to it. Its a smart tv but no tv remote provided. A few hundred bucks for a couple tvs would make it better but we all loved the house and the wildlife walking around tge property was cool. We will rent this place again.

Stayed Dec 25, 2024Everything was great with the home. The only less than perfect aspect of cleanliness was a number of spiders, spider webs up high, and dust on higher surfaces, but these may be more attributable to the time of year, the climate in this area, and the possibility that we were the first people in the property for a while. Who knew that hiking in the rain forest was a fun winter activity?!?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our extended family had a lot of fun here! A few things to note: The pictures are pretty accurate. The upstairs bedrooms are more amply sized and have neater, more refined furnishings. The downstairs were smaller (most especially the double bed room) and simpler. Downstairs bathroom (not shown in pictures, you have to use the 3d tour) could really use a shelf or something to help hold things. It's a functional half bathroom but just not as nice as the upstairs ones. I wish the primary bedroom ensuite could be removed so as to provide easier shower access to the rest of the house, but obviously that's not possible :) The circular staircase would have worried me more if our toddlers were younger, like new walkers/crawlers. My kid and her cousin are very steady on their feet now and somewhat decent at following directions (i.e. coming to ask a grownup if they want to take the curly staircase). We made some suggestions for additional furnishings/lamps for certain rooms, especially main living room to property management. The pictures do not necessarily make this clear, but the dining table extends and the bench combined with dining chairs can easily sit 8. About 15 minutes to downtown Port Angeles or Sequim. We liked being a little removed with the big yard for the kids to run around.

Stayed Jun 25, 2024We were on the Grand Road Trip 2024 with four grandchildren - two 10 year old boys and two twelve year old girls. We needed a place w a bedroom for the girls, a bedroom for the boys and a bedroom for Grandpa and Noni. We felt at home immediately in this clean, bright and spacious home. Grounds are well maintained and suitable for a game of flag football. I appreciated the long dining table - plenty big enough for the six of us. The kitchen is well equipped for anything one would want to prepare The photos on the listing are good, but the reality is better! Our excursions took us to Shi Shi Beach, Hurricane Ridge, Salt Creek recreation area and Fort Warden. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

Stayed Jun 7, 2024Private is an understatement. It is far back off the road and super quiet. We heard owls at night and the deer were just outside the window every day. The view of the mountains is perfect.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location was beautiful. We saw deer everyday in the yard and even a coyote. The house is big for a family of eight. The only cons were the mattresses need updated and the upper living room couch otherwise it was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and I loved that simple things like dishwasher packets and garbage bags were included. My only other suggestion would be adding a second outside garbage can. For a family of eight- one garbage can isn’t enough for a week and we had to leave the garbage outside by the garage and was worried about animals. We will definitely book the house again if we come this way! Loved the space and the area. On clear days the mountains are right outside the windows!
