Stayed Nov 17, 2025This was second year at rental, I assumed being a long term, returning client they would’ve cleaned better. However, the place was dusty, every drawer filthy, and the couch had not been vacuumed since I deep cleaned it last year. There was also a pest problem in the house, and it was not our service dog as she’s vaccinated for fleas and receives baths weekly. After check-in I contacted management about poor cleanliness of rental. Blue Coachella was unprofessional and defended cleaning staff. I explained the issues: Dusty, filthy drawers everywhere, filthy couches. I’d already spent hours vacuuming cleaning kitchen drawers. Management ‘s response ‘ can you live with it?’ I explained we paid to arrive at a clean rental and they needed to finish the job.After check out, I received message ‘due to excessive cleaning and dog stains on the carpet, I was being charged 365. I explained my ‘service dog’ never had accidents inside. I would contest these false charges. I had taken pictures upon checkout, and left the home clean and tidy. I was OCD about cleaning due to asthma, swept-mopped daily, deep cleaned weekly, left rental clean and tidy. Only having 1500 words, not able to list everything on review, but we had pest issues resulting in bug bites and scars throughout the stay, dirty interiors, and many maintenance issues. Vrbo Customer Support refunded our 365 charge from Blue Coachella, as I sent many pictures of the problems we had @ pictures of how clean we left rental.

Stayed Nov 25, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our two month stay for Dec/Jan. Views of Cove mountains are beautiful and accommodations were updated and clean. Old town La Quinta a few Km away for restaurants and shopping. Would have been nice to have fountain working back patio, but it only worked for 24 hours of 2 month stay…probably the desert water clogs it up. Check in was bit of problem, but not too much of inconvenience. Would love to return, but noticed accommodations double next winter so will have to find another rental in Cove area. Thxs to Manny and team for assisting us for few essentials needed.
