Bloody terrible dirty not very nice at all

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tidy house but definitelty needs a deep clean. Wiped over from previous stays, but definitely not cleaned. Aircon needed in bedrooms as the one aircon unit in the living area does not provide cooling to kitchen area, bunk bedroom and last bedroom (past laundry). Could not use those rooms during the daytime due to the extreme heat. Extremely creaky floorboards in the kitchen area, even with bedroom doors shut. Would consider staying again but only in the cooler months.

Reviewer Comments: Follow up call already made to RE agent.House had not one clean crockery or cutlery item, cushions on couch were disgustingly dirty, kitchen bakeware was old, unmatching and made every cooking task difficult, pans had teflon peeling off and overall not hygenic or safe. This resulted in us needing to buy our own cooking utensils (expensive and limited supply due to location) and eating out more than we had intended which due to having a family of 7, led to much more increased costs of our holiday which we had not planned for. We usually camp and this was a treat and meant to be an upgrade. It was harder as we did not have the modcons that we would usually have when camping! Beautiful old house in a lovely setting but in dire need of an upgrade (with furniture that does not look like it is off the verge collection!)It needs a THOROUGH clean and repairs done..beds in large room were all falling apart and slats being held on by rope! Most of the kids put mattresses in the lounge room each night to sleep as it was more comfortable than the bunks! Not very happy given the cost of this accommodation and I do have photos to send if needed.

Very very disappointed in our accommodation at Patrick Cres Kalbarri. The photos online do not live up to the actual property. The mattresses were worn out, you could feel the springs. The couches were sunken and broken, one with just a couch cover over the top. The dinning chairs the backrests were wobbly and the seats you almost sunk through. This property needs a major interior renovation and not worth the price for over $1700 for 6 nights. We would not recommend this property.
