Parkside offers the perfect getaway for families and/or friends! Conveniently located next to Central Park, 2 blocks from the beach and the main street (Mason Ave).

In peak summer we have full weeks available (Sun-Sun) or partial (Sun-Thurs). We open corresponding weekends once the Sun-Thurs books. Check our calendar or social media for weekend openings!

We recommend a max of 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 (possibly 4) children, depending on their ages. Our family of 5 stays comfortably!

We've put a lot of thought and care into making our space comfortable and inviting for our guests. The first floor has an open living room-dining room floor plan. The living area has a large flat screen TV on a swivel mount so that it can be adjusted towards the living or dining areas for the best viewing experience. We have a completely remodeled kitchen with beautiful quartz countertops, LVP flooring, plenty of cabinet and pantry space, as well as stainless steel appliances. There is a half bath located next to the dining area and a laundry closet next to the staircase. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one king, one queen) with a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bedroom has a wall-mounted smart TV, dresser, and memory foam mattress. Need to get some work done during your stay Under our king bed, you will find a collapsible desk that easily folds and unfolds in one minute. The home is also equipped with high-speed wi-fi. Our heating and cooling systems were upgraded in March 2022 with mini splits. Step into our refreshed backyard with a paved patio, complete with a table and seating for dining al fresco when you choose to eat at home. The shed even has a fold down TV for when you can't miss an important game, but want to enjoy being outside. In the shed you'll also find our favorite Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs and sand toys for the kids!

Parking is on the street. If you are pulling a boat, it is best not to park your boat trailer on the street. Please contact the Cape Charles Harbor Master for information on how to store your boat safely at the Cape Charles Harbor.

A sanitized and clean home will greet you when you arrive. The linens will be fresh, beds will be made, and bath towels are included. We provide all guests with starter paper products, cleaning supplies, and laundry supplies. We are also available 24/7 for any issues or concerns should any arise during your stay.

This listing is for the right side of a duplex. The front porch is shared, but the backyard is fenced for privacy. When both sides of the duplex are rented together, there is a gate that can be opened to allow for a larger, shared outdoor space. Due to this property being a duplex, we ask guests on both sides to be considerate and respectful of their neighbor(s) when it comes to noise, especially during quiet hours.

Cape Charles is a golf cart friendly town! It is also very beautiful to walk or ride a bicycle around. For our guests' best experience and convenience, we have a golf cart available to rent for an additional fee (plus signed waiver).

A signed rental agreement is required upon booking.

    This house was perfect for our family of 4. The location is ideal as the park is an easy walk for the kids and it is so close to both the beach and the town. The house is very comfortable. It’s nice to be able to rent a golf cart and not worry about picking it up or dropping it off. We also appreciated having an outdoor shower for our 4 and 6 yo.

    Great vacation home for our family. We loved our stay - it suited our needs for our family perfectly. Stacey was super helpful with any questions and quick to respond. Our friends rented the other side of duplex and being able to open the back gate and share a space was wonderful- especially with young kiddos!!

    This house was in the perfect location to meet all of our needs for our first visit to the Eastern Shore. It was well kept, well equipped and provided everything we needed. An easy walk into Cape Charles and a manageable drive to the Tangier Island ferry and to Chincoteague. We’d highly recommend this spot!

    Loved the house had everything you needed didn't need to bring toys or beach chairs etc. they even had an air fryer which was a must for little kids. Place was clean it was also gated and had a nice patio which was good for kids so they could run around. Would recommend this place 5 stars!!!

    Great property and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication was great! The cleaning crew could probably spend a little extra time in certain areas but overall clean (I am sure it is starting to get busy!). Only complaint is the noise from next door. You can hear everything through the walls upstairs including conversations and unfortunately the guests staying next door during out stay had multiple young children, so it was exceptionally loud (no fault of the owner). Would consider staying again if noise, sleep were not concerns.

    We had a great stay at Parkside South with our 3-year old. The location of the house made it really easy for us to walk to restaurants and the beach. We appreciated the plastic dinnerware, outdoor shower, and evenings eating ice cream on the porch swing. Stacey was also super responsive as a host.
