This property is a NOT a Pet Friendly home nor do we allow smoking inside the home. Many of our guests, and one of the owners, have allergies to animals. As such we try to keep our vacation homes allergy free from pets, as much as possible. To quote from the lease agreement attached to this property:
"Tenant also understands and agrees that this is a smoke-free property and smoking is only allowed outside. Tenant agrees not to keep or permit any pets on the Premises."
You will also note that within the Welcome Booklet which forms part of your agreement:
"• No Smoking anywhere inside this home, in the games room or in the RV Garage. There is an ashtray available for outdoor use only. A minimum fee of $200/day will be assessed for smoking inside the home.
• This is a NO PET property. There will be a minimum fee of $2,000 assessed for unauthorized pets on the property. You are responsible for any pets on the property. Inside or in the backyard. The reason for keeping the property free of pets is the many people who need a place free of allergens. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO BRING PETS ONTO THE PROPERTY!"
In addition to the fees noted above, violation of the terms of the Lease Agreement and the Welcome Booklet would be grounds for eviction from the property.
We were met for checkin by Glenda who gave us a quick tour and rundown of the property. Betty had to go out of town unexpectedly, but left us in good hands. Glenda was very nice and accommodating. In person greeting was not necessary as there is a code lock, but nice anyway. The house was wonderful and met all our needs. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of dishes and cookware and the appliances appeared to be brand new. There were all the small appliances you may need and everything was clean and in working order. If you didn't know how to use something, all the manuals were there too. They even left bottled water for us, which was much appreciated in the heat of August. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were very quiet. The bathrooms had some items available in case you forget to bring some, but if you're there longer than a weekend, bring your own shampoo and conditioner; the bottles are small. Fortunately, there is a nice supermarket nearby for all your shopping needs. Plenty of boat parking and you can put your car in the garage, which was also clean. The pool was nice, but in the heat of the summer felt more like a hot tub. It was very nice in the evenings after the sun was not quite so hot. I recommend this property.
This house was beautiful and the perfect getaway for our mom's weekend! The kitchen has all new appliances (Samsung my favorite), a tv in each bedroom, and a great backyard where we ate all our meals under the covered patio and relaxed in the pool all day. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being such a great and attentive host.
renting this property was pretty easy. Owner was super nice and had everything waiting for us when we got there. Like chips a cookies etc
The house was great, super clean and comfortable. Our stay was going great until the very last night when the owner (who lives across the street) contacted me and advised me she was charging us for her “time” due to the following: 1. On the first night of our stay the fridge took over 6 hours to get our food cool and I got worried something was wrong. I contacted her, she offered to come check it out, and I agreed (There was no mention of a charge in our text conversation or in person as she checked the refrigerator). The fridge ended up being ok, thank goodness! 2. At check-in we were told the last tenants didn’t take their trash out and we were asked to put the trash cans on the street Sunday night. On Sunday night, before we could finish our dinner/dessert, the owner took it upon herself to take out the trash cans (some time around 8pm). We had every intention of taking out the trash, but as it was our last night, we were going to clean the house and fill the trash cans before taking them out. In fairness, the owner reminded me about the trash cans 3 times via VRBO messenger and called me once over the weekend, but I was on vacation with family and didn’t have my phone handy most of the time. I felt terrible that I had not responded and there was obvious communication issues between us. We spent our last night feeling uneasy. We even took photos of every room in the house showing there was no damage, in case there were more frivolous charges. Not the best way to end a vacation with family... I can’t help but feel we were being punished for her last tenants’ actions
As advertised, this was a beautiful home. The host was great and the house was a great place to stay if ever in Havasu.
My family and I loved our time at Betty's home. The house was spotless, the beds super comfortable, and the home was perfect for us to relax and enjoy each others company. Betty was very easy to communicate with and we greatly appreciated the snacks and drinks she provided upon arrival. I highly recommend you book a stay with Betty!
Lovely little home to stay in while visiting Havasu Lake. The owner was very communicative and very helpful.
Loved the house and super welcoming owner ?
We have stayed at many a vacation home, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, California, Illinois, Florida and now Arizona. By far this was the best! Lake Havasu has many things to do and going on for anyone. This home and I do mean home is impeccable, all quality with nothing left to want for. Photos and owner description cannot fully show or describe it. Enjoying it is the only way. Highly recommend this property and we will be here again.
We came down here for a family vacation to get a break from the huge winter, and this place was just “easy”. They have anything and everything you could want, Betty was a gem and we look forward to connecting with her again next year!
