We had a very frustrating stay at this place. The place was booked for 5 people but two of the four bedrooms were basically unusable for much of the time. The fourth bedroom only has a sofa that folds flat that is only suitable for a kid. The bigger issue was that the third bedroom had a window that was broken in the open position that made the room too cold to use (snow was coming inside). Repeated calls to the managing agent went to an answering service and were never responded too. When I finally got through, someone came to finally fix window late that evening (no heads-up was given). In talking to the repair person, this was a known problem (they had ordered a part the previous week). We should have been altered before even traveling up to Tahoe if it couldn't be fixed before we arrived. Terrible property management and communication. Not what you want on a vacation. Requests for a partial refund were also unanswered. Book this place at your risk and don't expect to get anything back if things aren't right....
The location cannot be beat, the property itself is new and clean and comfortable. We had two issues-- no coffee maker, just a Nespresso machine. And the other was the quality of the paper products. There was 1/2 a roll of crappy paper towel, and the TP/Kleenex was less than acceptable. It wasn't worth a call to the property manager, but I'm hoping they will up their game. The house is great, really great. Skimping on the cheap stuff is not okay. Don't let it stop you from booking!
