Paradise Found - Stunning Forest Views, Pets, Hot Tub, Games

House was great very well equipped for families, back yard was great and definitely an underrated feature, kids had a blast making snowmen and sledding! Looking forward to my next trip to Paradise Found!

Great home. Very spacious bedrooms and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable trip to Tahoe. Conveniently located to multiple ski resorts.

We came to celebrate Christmas and were pleasantly surprised to see it was even decorated for us when we checked in. The hosts were great - checked in multiple times and left us everything we needed. We got to experience a white Christmas with the huge amount of snow fall that took place so to wake up and see the house had all the things you would need for the snow (sleds, shovels, etc.) just made it that much better. Our stay was perfect and we would definitely recommend!

The home was lovely great for families!! Lots of maintenance problems with the home. The hot tub was so dirty the maintenance man said not to use it, part of the reason I booked this property was to use the hot tub!! The oven didn’t work, the property management texted me 40 minutes after arriving to let me know that there was a “easy bake” counter top oven there for our use!! I had 2 large frozen lasagna’s to make for dinner for our family of 8, needless to say it took 4 hours to bake them separately and we ended up have to go get to go food for the kids and the adults didn’t eat dinner until after 9:00 PM!!If I would’ve been made aware of this prior to shopping for this trip I would not have bought food that needed to be baked!!They offered a second oven to use and said someone would drop it off the next day as the maintenance staff had left for the day.The maintenance man was very nice when he showed up the next day at around 11 AM and offered to leave a second countertop oven for our use, at that point, we didn’t need it. While he was there, I had him look at the hot tub and he said not to use it, it needed to be drained and refilled, there was no bromine in the floating device and the water wasn’t safe to use. As I said the home was great for our family but the management team in my opinion was awful!

My husband, daughter and I wanted to get away for a couple of days together and thought the Tahoe area would be a great change of scene. We definitely got the relax at the house. It was beautifully prepared and well-cared for. The setting was quiet and beautiful, but still close to everything we might need. All of our questions were answered quickly and helpfully. We would definitely stay at this location or one run by the same group again.

This place was very spacious for our large family and had everything we needed to have a great stay, I would stay here again and recommend to others!!

Overall good experience. We enjoyed the duel, primary bedrooms and hot tub. Kids also enjoyed the outdoor space to play in the snow. A few minor issues when we first arrived, but the host was quick to communicate.

My husband and I stayed here with a group of high school athletes. It worked great with the separate bedrooms. The kids loved the hot tub. The neighborhood was centrally located and easy to access from the slopes and from south shore.

We booked this stay for my husbands birthday/yearly friend reunion. It fit 7 of us comfortably. And everything was clean and cozy. The property management company that runs this place was extremely communicative and answered any questions we had promptly. The jacuzzi was large and spacious and held heat well. The driveway was tight but it fit our 1 large suv and medium size suv with no issue. The home sits on a a little hill, so driving down to park in the drive way or getting out Can be a slight issue when the road is iced over. 1 of our cars didn’t have 4wd so they kept slipping. Keep that in mind when planning your stay. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals and making coffee. Fridge works well and so does the grill outside. Overall the place was great and we definitely plan on staying here again!

Beautiful house, great for 2 families of 4. Close enough to South Lake Tahoe for visiting, but far enough to avoid crowds :-)

Reviewer Comments: We were 2 families, one from California and one from Texas, meeting up in Lake Tahoe for some skiing fun. The weather got miserable for 2 days whereby we couldn’t get out much but everyone had fun. The house has a foosball table, and good board games to keep everyone occupied. Skiing was close by and there are great food options within driving distance. Given the house location on a slope and being on a side road, it makes it hard to get in and out when it snows a lot. We only had one vehicle that could get in and out easily. The hot tub would not reach the temperature needed unless you set it up in advance with the cover closed. The washer, dryer and amenities are great! One issue was the stovetop which had one that would not light easily and somehow the ignition would not stop even after the fire is lit. Also, when we were leaving it was raining and we had to make sure we got all the trash out ourselves. The cleaning and management were trying to get us out at exactly 10am because they had another group coming in. Given the cleanup we had to do and to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, and all of it while it was raining and slippery with the ice and snow, we felt there was no need to keep rushing us. And to top it off, the cleaning people blocked us in with their vehicles while we were trying to leave... annoying.

We like the quiet neighborhood, easy access to many South Lake Tahoe hiking trails, and the short trip to Hope Valley for fall color. The kitchen is well-stocked, and most of the beds are comfortable. The things we found lacking (an ice dam in the freezer, missing kitchen items, and the furnace needing a filter change) were addressed by property managers. If we were to suggest anything, it would be to install privacy screening on the deck railing nearest the hot tub, which overlooks the street. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay!

Wonderful home. Well furnished and stocked. Great location. Only challenge was we couldn’t get reception for phone calls to go through. Highly recommend this home!
