This cabin snuggled in the canyon was exactly what we needed after a tough week. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed too!! I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

If you’re traveling with dogs, this place is a gem. The house is spacious and comfortable (3 bedrooms), the main bedroom has a very comfy king bed, and the kitchen is big and fully equipped. The living room was cozy and we loved the table tennis setup in the garage. The location is perfect — about 20 minutes to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park entrance and still convenient to Amarillo. But the best part for us was the land: 5 acres gave our dogs plenty of safe space to roam around the house without bumping into other dogs, and it felt remote and quiet (away from roads), which was exactly what we wanted. One small note: there was some sand on the windows and along the walls near the entrance. It seems like a “comes with the territory” thing for this area, and it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, we’d absolutely stay here again.

Wow! Spectacular getaway for our family. We had 2 seniors, 2 tweens and a little one. Everyone found something to enjoy. Well stocked kitchen. I recommend bringing house shoes if you're sentive to cold floors. And this is definitely a great place to bring comfy clothes and just relax.

We had a very nice stay here. It was conveniently located between Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo. All beds were comfortable. Amelia was extremely helpful, and she responded very quickly to any requests or needs we had.

We loved the house and locationClean, comfortable beds and living conditionsHad deer two days….that was greatOnly disappointment, hot water availability; two cold showers, heating water for dishes was quicker and easier in the microwave than waiting for tap water to get hot; maybe there was a trick we didn’t getOverall, great place!

The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family of 5. The location was just as stated, tucked away enough for privacy and a little feel of being away from everyone yet close to town. We had a great time and would love to be back!

Pretty place, a bit hard to find at first. Has plenty of outdoor space but little shade. I never communicated with the property mgr but vrbo doesn't allow an n/a or no answer.

It was lovely having three bedrooms for my family and I. Super pet friendly my dog loved it. Walking in the morning and evening and seeing deer while drinking coffee was fabulous. My family and I had so much fun hiking in the gorgeous Canyon. We did end up having a crazy sandstorm, but thankfully, we had our lovely House to stay in and played games and had some fun family time. Definitely worth returning to.

The directions to the property were great. It was clean and cute. The kids enjoyed the pingpong table and the basketball goal. There's a fire pit in the backyard and 3 TVs. It's about 15-20 minutes from the middle of Amarillo. Nice and secluded.

Home is comfortable and as pictured. Wildlife is just outside the door or walking past picture window. Just wish it had a second bathroom or half bath. Driveway is mostly dust, needs more packed gravel. Didn't take our Trike off the trailer as not sure we could make it back up the driveway. Loved the back patio, in fact I want some of those patio chairs.

This is a lovely comfortable home that we very much enjoyed. My teen grandsons had a great time playing Wii and it was very close to Palo Duro Canyon. We saw deer right in the yard. The drive up to the house was somewhat difficult for my front wheel drive Palisade and I think it would be very difficult to navigate after a rain. This could be such a gorgeous neighborhood if they enforced any sort of restrictions and/or cleaned up abandoned properties and debris. I give the house and host 2 thumbs up but the neighborhood one thumb down.

We loved the property and how it was secluded. The house was decorated very nicely. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. We will definitely revisit next time we are in the area. And not far from going into Amarillo for sightseeing and going to the store. Also, Palo Duro canyon isn’t far away. The whole family was happy with our stay. We would definitely recommend!

This property is in a nice, quiet area. We went for walks and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the big living room window. It has everything needed to cook nice meals and felt very homey. We were very happy with our stay. I would advise, though, that the driveway is sand and not suitable for a motorcycle.

The house is exactly as expected and is situated in a private/gated area. The roads and driveway are rough, but we had no problems with our SUV. We wanted a quiet, clean place and this house met our needs. I was in town a cycling event and we didn't utilize the house for more than rest and recovery, but there were more opportunities we could explored. The TV had plenty of channel options, there were games in the living room and garage as well as a basketball hoop in the driveway. Communication with the host was fast and nice. A short drive to town and a short drive to the Canyon makes this a nice option for your visit.

Great stay. Very relaxing. You don’t have to go straight up the “ramp” as shown in the picture. There is a less steep winding path to the left. The “ramp”did give me a chance to use the locking rear differential on my truck (that I never use) and I got the hang of it. (you have to take a run at it) There is only a Keurig machine. We brought our own coffee with grinder so that was a bummer. We only found the My K-Cup in the drawer when we were about to leave. Lesson learned as it seems so many people now use Keurigs. There is a gas station/convenience store not far away. We had mule deer and fox visitors.
