Reviewer Comments: Overall we had an enjoyable week at this property, it is in a great location on the beachfront directly opposite Woodgate beach picnic tables and BBQ’s. The major downside was the lack of attention to cleanliness, on arrival we found the tile floor inside the house covered in white dog hair from the previous tenant, the floor tiles were filthy and resulted in black feet if we walked around with bare foot. We had to sweep & mop the entire house. Yes we had a great time but house & yard do need some TLC.

This is such a lovely, peaceful place to stay just a moments walk from the beautiful beach across the road. Sunrise and sunset are stunning on the beach with your coffee. The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped. It has comfortable beds and linens included. There is also a basic unit behind the main cottage with a double bed, bathroom and small kitchen area. The fenced in area behind the house would work well for children or dogs to play. There is a bakery nearby, a lovely coffee place, a hotel bar and the bowling club serve good meals. We had great communication from the company who are responsible for the property.

This trip was more for family reminiscing of what my ancestors had achieved in their lifetime. The house is well situated with a short casual walk to shops and the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle bus available. The outside area is well suited for those with dogs. The inside of the house is comfortable with two bedrooms and the addition of the rear granny flat would be great for the extra guests or older children. Overall it is a great spot to holiday.

Top location, huge patio setting to accommodate everyone comfortably. Very well equipped for both you and your fur babies. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great. Weather was near perfect. We are regular visitors here and wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was not up to its usual standard. Sand/dirt/dust around front and rear door sills also, in the cupboard of main bedroom as well as dirty shelves in the pantry. Fridge could've done with a clean too. Inside rubbish bin hadn't been cleaned for some time as mould was found in the little crevices of the top and lid. Maybe the occasional spring-clean could help. Being regular stayers here, we've noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling forming so, it might be a good idea for the owner to install an exhaust fan. Having said this, the place has always suited our needs, and these issues are relatively minor and we will be back again.
