PacMan Arcade, Home Theater, Foosball, Playground, Spa + 7mins to Lake – Mountainside Retreat

The house is sufficient, well located and the hot tub works well enough. My family utilized the play structure and enjoyed it. Aesthetically, the home is very plain and lacks character. As common in most vrbo’s we have stayed in, a house manual and welcome book would be a lovely addition. The PacMan game is a fun video game. The food-ball game could use an additional ball for playing. Upon arrival the space was clean, however there were multiple spider webs and spiders through out the interior. The broom was broken and no dust pan was provided, no cleaning supplies are provided. The laundry room is an added bonus for a family, however the washing machine needs a deep clean. Instructions to leave the lid open would help to reduce the smell of mildew from the machine. Fortunately the smell does not transfer to clothing. Regarding issues with the home, I compliment the Ground crew on their responsiveness to issues. Key things to note: master bedroom has no closet access or dresser, stove burner has to be lit with a lighter before it will function, there is no remote to access to garage for parking, living room lacks a coffee table or side tables, very limited linens and kitchen towels, out door area has no seating and the fridge in the garage does not function. Overall the home was equipped with the basics, sufficient for our needs and located in a cute neighborhood surrounded by a mix of rentals and full time residents. The backyard was a bonus.

The stay was great. It’s our second time. There was a problem with the hot tub and we had to call the property management. They came and while they didn’t fix it, provided a loophole to keep it running, albeit without big bubbles. Remember to bring essentials, as instructed. We loved the packman machine and fuss-ball

We had a wonderful time in Tahoe. The house was clean, well stocked, and in a good neighborhood. We fished the creeks nearby and the house was 10-15 min away from the beach. We would definitely come back. Bring a few extra fans if you are going during a heatwave like we did since there's no AC like most houses up there. We opened all the windows once the sun went down and the house felt nice and cool.

The place was as described but unfortunately there were mice in the house. We arrived at night and within 2 minutes of arrival, my daughter and husband saw a mouse. We called and the property manager brought traps. The next morning I saw a mouse run out of my children’s room. We had to leave at that point. The property manager was so very apologetic and found us another place to stay. Big thanks to the property management company! I understand these things happen.

Perfect location, house was clean and big enough for 2 families. Not only did the kids have a blast, the adults did too. Very friendly neighborhood

We chose to pay about $1,000 per day for this property, mainly for the hot tub--a welcome sight after a day of skiing. Overall, this rental is average in most aspects, and deficient in some: The kitchen area is not stocked adequately for 7+ guests, (not enough dishes or glasses and large pots). The appliances, however, are first-rate. The DR sits only 6 persons. One of the chairs came apart (literally unglued) when my daughter sat down,. The agent came right over and glued the offending chair. Perhaps a look at all the glue joints of the DR chairs is called for. All the living areas are of adequate size, but we took exception to the following: there is no closet in the Master Bedroom: a first in decades of traveling, nor is there a privacy curtain between the MBR and its bathroom: turning on the bath lights also floods the bed in light. Tough luck if you're asleep. The LR sofa is extra large but actually seats only/5 adults comfortably and there is no armchair to add to the LR comfort. There is no coffee table in the main LR, nor are there side tables. Where were we to put our drinks while watching TV. Finally, this LR could use a small carpet to break up the overwhelming brown color of the walls and floors, and eliminate the echo of the LR. It's a nice house, but the high season price is too much. One of the national chains offers studios with kithenette, plus all the amenities normally offered by a major hotel chain, plus maid service, for much less.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Beds were comfy and everything was as described.

It was a good property to stay at pretty small but nicely organized.

Great place with plenty of space for our girls getaway. Other than not having many cleaning products it was the perfect place to stay and only a 10-15min drive to the lake and casinos. The host was quick to reply and easy to communicate with as well.
