Awesome home for families and dogs. Love the large screened in porch. Hosts are very communicative and pleasant. My 2nd stay visiting my Razorback kids.

Here for weekend family vaca. It was very hot outside and upstairs AC had a hard time keeping up-likely due to 3 sliding glass doors that had no curtains/blinds (one in master bedroom!). Very clean, lots of space, host responded quickly to need for dishwashing soap. The walk down to the lake was very steep-something like 90 stairs down to dock so we didn’t spend much time down there. Did use kayaks on lake to go to the swim beach which was very close to the dock. Loved being able to use 2-car garage with remotes. If you’ve got more than 7 people, bring some plastic ware-not enough silverware for all of us! We would stay again but maybe when it’s cooler so we could take more advantage of hiking and biking in the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much. In fact, we tried to extend but unfortunately the property was already booked. The property manager did all in her power to ensure we had a good stay. Even provided us with foldable chairs for a concert we decided to go to in nearby Bentonville. The walk down to the lake is steep, but for our group it was no issue. The lake is small/medium in size but close to other larger lakes. So we swam and did paddelboarding and kayaking there and then rented a boat for a day on Beaver Lake. Lots of amenities as part of the HOA, including awesome tennis facility, yoga on the beach, and a ton more. It is a quiet laid back community. Great for relaxing but plenty to offer within 15 minutes driving.

Great house, lots of space but the lake access is a challenge. The house is nice with great views and plenty of space. The basement bedrooms are actually one room with beds on two different walls with a divider in between. Not a huge deal but not what we expected. The lake access is some work though, 76 steps down to the dock, and they are steep, not including the walk down from the house to the wood steps. Unfortunately the grandparents could not do that many steps but we had another house too so it was fine. Just be ready for the hike as there are no pictures from the dock looking up to the house. Bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor space was great. Family really enjoyed the lake and the hosts were responsive and helpful.

This was a wonderful home away from home, on a lake up in the trees! Great huge screen porch, and really. Quite a steep walk to lake dock, but worth it. We would recommend, and would stay here again, and likely will!

The host was extremely prompt in her communications with us. She answered all questions in a timely manner. The location was great. The neighborhood was great for taking walks. Easy walk/hike to the Avalon beach and kids liked the park there. The play house is in rough shape and not as photographed. The bedding wasn’t in the best shape. All said the house served its purpose and we had a great trip. Probably could have been more thoroughly cleaned.

We loved everything about the house. It is very functional for a family and the view of the lake is amazing. Only downfall is the journey to the dock. Too steep for toddlers or elderly. All in all a wonderful stay.

The house was nice for our 4 night getaway. The layout of the house provided several indoor areas for relaxation. The kitchen was spacious and easy to cook together. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. There was good water pressure in the showers We were there in October, so we did not spend time on the lake. The wooden stairs to the lake were very steep and the condition was not the best. The dock was larger, but also very basic. The lake was very quiet and pretty. The screened in porch was long and narrow and could use a good cleaning and maintenance. The two bedrooms in the finished basement were connected and there is no door between them for any privacy. We enjoyed the space but it could use a bit of cleaning and updating.

Positives: Overall accurate as to location and amenities described, bedding and bathrooms very clean. Negatives: The home is in disrepair and photos do not accurately portray the inconvenience of lake access. This place is neglected, torn screens on the patio, broken door, unusable grill, dock fridge does not work, kitchen fridge barely keeps food cool and the ice maker does not work. The stairs down to the dock are overgrown and the kayaks are not watertight. We ended up buying an outdoor charcoal grill to cook outside. Overall an enjoyable stay tarnished by disrepair and lack of TLC to what was once a beautiful home.

There were nine of us who stayed at this property. It had so much space for the teens to hang downstairs, the baby to sleep in the laundry room where it was quiet and adult bedrooms. The only negative for us was through no fault of the owner. There are 144 steep steps to the dock which was a significant task for most of the adults. The steps were extremely slick after a light rain making it too treacherous. We went to the POA beach and had to pay $5 a person even tho we had the activity pass which just allowed us to enter the beach. Note: we travelled with a family member in a wheelchair. We brought our own 8 ft ramp and used the garage entrance to get them inside. The open floor plan and the spacious master bedroom was perfect for our adaptive needs!
