Oxford Beach House

The hause was ok, nothing fancy, but you have everything that you need to feel comfortable. However, our only big problem was that one of the rooms ( with bunk beds) didn't have the AC, the room was extremely hot despite the electrical fan staying there, so we couldn't use it. We ended up using only 2 rooms while some had to sleep on the sofa. That is not cool considering how much money was paid for this property. That's not something you would expect when you specifically book the house with 3 bedrooms but end up having just two. Generally all the rooms in the house have old fashioned AC placed in the window. AC was making loud noise the whole night. I dont know maybe it's a thing in New Jersey, but this is so outdated and inconvenient. Another thing was parking. There was someone's boat parked almost in front of the house. We still parked our car in front of it, however the next days the people who were renting the house next door were parking their car in our place. It's not a big deal, but it was inconvenient since we had to park in the narrow driveway behind the house. Other than that, the location was ok, 12min walk to the beach.

We had a fabulous stay. The house met our needs and more. It was nice to have the fully furnished living room with a door so the kids could enjoy that space while the adults could be in the family room. The bunk beds gave our two little ones ample space and there were tvs in each of the other bedrooms. Plenty of pillows and linens. Proprietor was responsive and friendly! Perfect rental for us, we were 4 adults 2 children. Outside shower was nice with hot and cold water.

Check in was a breeze, house was spacious, nice. Travis response time was very quick in any communications. Loved the outside shower for kids to shower after the beach. Would visit again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was cozy, very clean, and surprisingly spacious—it was so nice to have the whole place to ourselves. It made for a perfect, relaxing getaway with my daughter. The owner was awesome—great communication and quick to respond to any questions. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great location and the house looked exactly as described. All of the kitchen supplies were also very handy!
