We had a wonderful time staying here over the Pirate Jamboree weekend! This home was the perfect set up for our four generation family vacation! The kitchen was well stocked (although a frying pan was needed but we made do!) and the bedrooms and living spaces all made us feel right at home, along with plenty of games and books and puzzles! The covered porch with swing was a favorite spot! The island is a wonderful place to visit and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful house with plenty of room for a big group. First of all, Ocracoke is the best place on the Outer Banks so it’s in the right spot to begin with. The house itself is in excellent condition with comfortable furniture and a very usable kitchen. The place was immaculate when we got there. The upstairs common area is quite spacious and there are 2 large decks: one was screened in. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty convenient to everything. We’d definitely stay here again.

While the house is a nice size and has good general amenities, it is a little beaten up and worn for the worse. Shades are broken or don't work, comforters were worn and even dirty, the furniture is a mishmash of different pieces and not well pulled together. Worst of all, the whole place smelled badly fishy when we first walked in and it never went away despite many scented candles etc. The mgt company is nice and tried to help but we left early as the house just wasn't comfortable.

We had a good stay. It was a little hard to find to first day with it being tucked down the side road. we are looking to come back next year about the same time.

The place was very clean. We used all parts of the house and it was big enough for some privacy. Glad to have the big room for card and board games around the table. Suggest a golf cart for convenience. Great vacation! Dryer needs to be pulled forward to work better (kink in hose?).

Most rentals indicate if all pets or just dogs are welcome, this doesn't specify. We didn't realize this was an any pet goes place. Two in our party have severe cat allergies. There definitely have been cats at this property. It had a faint kitty litter smell and there were fluffs of cat hair on the floor and furniture. The coffee craffe was broken. Having to take all sheets and covers was a bit inconvenient. Finding the place was a challenge as it's down a gravel side road and not marked. Decent house if it was cleaned better considering the pet issues.

Very nice property off the beaten path. The house has a very peaceful and pleasant setting. The only down side to this place is it’s a bit tight moving a boat and trailer around. Can’t go wrong though otherwise especially for the peace and quiet. Also being able to bring our dog was very important and appreciated.

Overall, this is a lovely house. It is spacious and clean. I can tell the owners had guests in mind- there are books, games, DVD’s, and Roku. There are a ton of extra blankets. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools. Location with requests to beach and town is excellent. That said, the kitchen is TINY. Only one cool at a time. The porches are not very scenic as described. There is NO yard for the kids to play. And there are a LOT of stairs. Again, we loved our time there but wished we had known the above. 4.5 stars in my book!
