This place was everything that I had hoped for!! Beautiful views and a lovely walk to the park!
Perfect place for ice climbing and close enough to walk to the park
Perfect cabin for families. So close to the park and the Hot springs. Enjoyed hearing the river at night with the windows open. Felt very private and secluded!
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful log cabin in January, when we were in Ouray for the ice climbing festival. We can't imagine a more perfect home base for a visit to Ouray. Walks to Town and to the Perimeter Trail were easy and convenient, so that we only needed to drive when we enjoyed a trip over the Million Dollar Highway. The cabin is incredibly cozy and well furnished, and even though there were only two of us on this trip, there was plenty of room for more family or friends to have joined us. The kitchen is very well stocked, there's good water pressure and hot water in the showers, and the sound of the rushing stream below the cabin is just lovely. The hosts also are wonderful, with quick responses to each message we sent. We absolutely will stay here again when we return to Ouray.
This was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy family and friends and get out and hike. All amenities covered and very comfortable. Would definitely book again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Location was close enough to town but secluded enough to be private. So peaceful at night to enjoy the sound of the Uncompahgre River. The cabin had everything we needed from kitchen items/pots and pans/spices, washer/dryer availability with laundry detergent and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. We would choose this cabin again! Thank you so much for allowing us a great place to stay while we jeeped the passes and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Colorado!!
We enjoyed our visit in Ouray! The house that we stayed at was in a beautiful location and was very spacious. We had lots of space, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a loft with 2 beds. We also had a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. There was a family emergency and miscommunication regarding our first night's stay and cleaning but it was all cleared up quickly, efficiently and with kindness. We were also in need of a crock pot and one was delivered to be used for the whole week - greatly appreciated. The housekeepers did come the next day (at our convenient time)and the house was put back into good order and ready to be enjoyed! We would recommend this location and VRBO for families to enjoy while exploring the beautiful San Juan Mountains, making family memeories.
Overall amazing! The only suggestion I have is that the check in time be a little sooner. We had a lot to do that day and would’ve liked to dropped stuff off to venture off in the town.
Our first stay in Ouray and this cabin was a perfect spot for our group of 7. We arrived after camping 3 nights in the mountains and our vehicles and side by side were filthy. The water hose and driveway were just what was needed to get things cleaned up. The cabin was very spacious for everyone. Beds were all comfortable. Weather for no A/C and just opening windows at night was so comfortable. I love a good shower with adequate water pressure and these showers did not disappoint. Our last night out on the side patio with fire pit and swing was so relaxing. I also loved that you can hear the river as it is just across the street. Made for very relaxing sleep. We had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and washing clothes. Beach towels were even provided for the Hot Springs pool. Only inconvenience was that prior to arrival and upon arrival there were no check-in instructions. I called property manager and left a couple of messages but had no return call. It wasn't until we tried the door and found it completely unlocked for us to enter. I'm assuming the cleaning service left in a rush and didn't lock it because the downstairs bed had not been made and the sheets were hanging over closet doors to dry - yet it worked out because I didn't have the code to enter. I did hear from the property manager the day of our departure when I reached out because the entire town was out of power and needed to let her know we might not be able to complete checkout cleaning tasks. She was very understanding and was very generous in letting us keep our trailers parked in the driveway while we went into town to shop and eat before heading out. I would definitely stay here again.
