Wonderful home and the host had a nice basket of snacks and some drinks ready for us. Home is newer with a well stocked kitchen (appliances and pots/pans etc) and a nice back porch and yard. There isn't a dock on the lake but we were able to get the kayaks (included in the homes toy garage) down into the water well enough and that part of the lake is pretty quiet and calm. Would like to visit again for more than just 2 nights next time. Great experience.

I booked this beautiful home to have a place to bring family and friends together for my Mother’s memorial service. Leslie went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The house is well-appointed with every amenity needed to enjoy the lake. Thank you! I strongly recommend this beautiful property.

The photos of the home are gorgeous and it is obvious that the home owners really work to provide extra special touches to make it a good experience for guests (lots of coffee options, a personalized snack basket, toiletries in the bathrooms). However, such a beautiful home with some details absent really misses the mark, especially for the total cost of staying only 4 nights. Their are three bedrooms upstairs with one tiny bathroom. I feel that was a big oversight and could be described more in the listing. The beds are also described in the listing, but no king sized beds is also a big miss. Those previous thinfs can definitely be overlooked and still would enjoy that stay, but two things were really deal breakers and would make it a one time stay for us: one, a very nice (but small) house ON the lake with awful lake access. I will say the owners are definitely upfront that there is no dock, but the access is truly insane. Basically a very steep cliff with rocks and shrubs. Not a great way to get into the water at all, let alone fish. It’s very unsafe even for those that are in shape and athletic. A dock would be ideal, but even a path, or some type of stairs to help with the insane cliff. The other thing that was not thought out at all was the detached ‘boat house’ or garage with a ping pong table was about 110 degrees, no AC, no fan, nothing, yet a nice place to have the family get together if it were maybe 80 degrees? Also owners stuff all over with little notes. Lock up

From the moment that I reached out to Leslie about her and her husband’s home after finding out our original house booking was a scam, she and her husband were simply amazing! From asking us about our family, to finding out what treats we enjoy, to making sure all my questions were answered. We were greeted by Leslie and her husband when we showed up slightly early and they took the time to come over and welcome us, and to letting us know the washing machine had an error code and sent a video promptly on how to easily bypass it. When we walked in to their beautiful home we were greeted with a welcome sign, to our favorite treats and a gift basket. How amazing is that?! The house was fully stocked with everything you need and the cleanest home I have ever rented. The property on the lake was beautiful! We had the best vacation and it truly was a “Lakeside Perfection” I highly highly recommend this house! Thank you a million times over Leslie and Josh! You two are amazing owners!

The lake house was perfect- all the little details and special touches made this an amazing trip. Communication was on point and the kids loved the gifts waiting for them upon arrival. Thank you for making this a prefect trip.

This was truly one of the nicest experiences we have had. We stayed here for my son’s 16th birthday to spend time with family. The host had cupcakes and a happy birthday sign. This was the cleanest/fully stocked home we have stayed in. Our family had fun kayaking and relaxing. Really great time!

We had a wonderful time in this adorable lake home on Tims Ford Lake. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had about anything. The screened in porch with the fire place was such a cozy spot for reading. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit outside and when it was chilly, I loved having the gas fire inside. This house has lots of kayaks, water floats, life vests, fishing equipment, and bikes to use! It was so convenient to not have to travel with them or rent them. The boys loved the ping pong table and the basketball court, too! We all enjoyed playing corn hole in the yard. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The house was the perfect size for our family. We have been to many, many VRBOs over the years and have never had such personalized treatment from the snack baskets to the dinner basket and all the supplies needed for a week away. Wow! I’m so glad we chose this charming home and these fantastic hosts for our Spring Break 2024!

The home is just as lovely as the photos! We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen. The kayaks were a hit, but watch your step!

Location/scenery is everything. Communication was prompt. Perfect place when you simply want to stay in and spend time with your family.
