We had a cozy and comfortable stay overall. The house felt warm and inviting, and the downstairs game room was a fun space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and we appreciated having plenty of blankets and thoughtful items that helped us feel comfortable during our stay. There were a couple of minor issues: the downstairs TV remote didn’t really work, and the smoke detector was chirping when we arrived. That said, we called it in and someone did come out to fix it, which we appreciated. This is a solid four-star stay. The main reason it isn’t a five is a general lack of extra details and amenities that would elevate the experience. Also important to note: there is no washer and dryer available, which may be a consideration depending on your needs.Overall, a pleasant and cozy place to stay in Arrowhead.

We stayed here over a four-day long weekend. A lovely, unassuming home with a split-level design that is particularly suited for families with children or those looking for two different living room spaces. The pros: The home was spacious, clean, and accommodated two families well. It is close to restaurants and food options while still being in a residential area. The layout: while the children played or watched TV in the man cave, parents could socialize in the kitchen/living room while not being completely isolated from the kids. The cons: No washer or dryer were available -- which is not a big problem in short stays if you are aware of and prepared for it. We did experience a minor challenge with one of the 3 bathrooms that was quickly addressed by management. Not a deal breaker. Overall: We would consider coming back to this property again.

We stay at Lake Arrowhead every year. This property is managed by a group that is hard to work with. We got there early (drove and didn't hair traffic), weren't allowed in for 2 hours. I went to town with family, daughter and 2 grandsons, husband stayed on porch and waited until for code worked. Kitchen had 1 towel and no paper towels or napkins. I worked have brought my own, but I've never rented a house without basics. She brought some next day. CHEAPEST quality paper products ever seen! Thinner than anything even sold at the dollar store. Prison grade maybe? The house was cold and heater was locked with a pin number. They did have a lot of blankets. Washer and dryer advertised were locked up. Grandson had nosebleed, we needed to wash the towels. Called again and she came back and unlocked. At 10 after 10 on check out day, we left but she or someone just sat in the driveway in a pick up truck waiting with the engine on, it was creepy. We paid a great deal for 3 nights. I will never rent a property managed by Grand Welcome again.
