Had a great stay at this beautiful home. Brought my wife down for her birthday the views from the home are fantastic. Love using the fire place all weekend. Great lot private even in the winter with no leaves. Love the large open floor plan the massive ceilings and covered decks. They don’t build homes like this anymore. Great stay hopefully we can come back next year and bring the kids and dog. Just a note I would update the pots and pans they are in bad shape and get more silverware. It was fine for me and my wife we just used the one cast iron pan for all our meals. But if we had our kids with us we would have run out of silverware in 15 minutes. It was a great stay though can’t wait to come back again
We came off season (late Nov), so it was very quiet. All the decks still provided a sense of privacy as there are mature trees on both sides of the property and no houses across the lake. Super quiet and private location. The house was huge! We really enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner each day. Unfortunately we never figured out how to log into our own accounts for Netflix or Prime...ended up watching our favorite show on an iPad instead of one of the many TVs. Minor inconvenience. It was wonderful stay overall! I can imagine how great it would be to visit in summer.
My wife was celebrating her birthday and we invited a couple of family members to enjoy a quiet vacation with us. The home was perfect for what we needed and offered a great view, spacious accommodations, and peace and quiet.
Overall great experience. Great view. dock was in good condition as well as interior and exterior furniture. Kitchen well stocked. However the included toilet paper and paper towels leave something to be desired. Some of the pots did not have matching lids. Included regular coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker but no toaster oven. Gas range cooks fast. Washer and dryer adequate. Hand towels provided in the kitchen were not very absorbent, but all other linens were adequate. Top floor right side sliding was VERY hard to open. could use a new grill scraper. WiFi worked well. One safety hazard noted were the latches on gaits on decks..need to be replaced. Toliet in downstairs bathroom wobbled a lot. And master bedroom downstairs can hear every step occupants in upstairs master make. Water pressure was amazing and water gets very hot. Hot tub could use some adjusting, Jets were very strong on one side and not the other.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Our point Of View, and what a view it is!! Wether your inside, outside or relaxing in the hot tub the view is wonderful. It was especially memorable when the fog rolled in one morning over the dam and mountain and then receded back and was gone. Not something you see every day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!!
The place was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The only recommendations would be to get new pots and pans and some coffee cups. The pots were old and only one real coffee cup. On the dock, the top part of the dock (metal pole) was pulling away from the anchor. We do have pictures if needed.
The View is one of the best on the Lake with a wall of windows to enjoy it. The floorplan is well-designed with plenty of outdoor seating.
Amazing view of the lake and wonderful cozy home
Had a great time with my children!
Spent a week here with my husband and two dogs. Beautiful views, peaceful house/property. Only word of caution would be the stair climb from the water/boat dock to the main floor of the home (there are a lot). All in all, great place to stay.
This house had amazing views!
This place was pretty awesome. Rooms were very open and never made us feel cramped or uncomfortable. Pool table and Ping Pong were some of the stars of the show... Let's not forget the hot tub as well.... All and all thus was one of my favorite get away spots.... I play acoustic guitar and the natural reverb this place has is top notch ?... No complaints from my friends either.... Even my little Yorkie loved the place... He's usually a nervous wreck when it comes to new places, but I feel like the open view of the world around helped him out (so many windows!!) So in a nutshell... The place was great and if you're looking for an open getaway, this is the place.
This home is truly a home away from home. They provide everything you can think of for their guests to feel comfortable. The view was like it came out of a postcard. The home was very clean, and everyone in the neighborhood was very nice and friendly. Some downsides (is not the homes fault), it can take from from 20-40 minutes just to get out of the mountain. Also at this time of the year there was extreme fog, a lot of rain, and most places are winterizing so they only open on weekends. There’s not much to do in the area, and that’s why we were grateful to have a home that had everything we needed. Finally, they’re very dog friendly and that means a whole lot to us. Thank you for making our vacation memorable and wonderful!
Amazing house with beautiful views-My family was here for a long weekend, and everything was perfect!
