We absolutely loved our stay at Three Mermaids! This was our third time at the property and it was just as wonderful as the first two. Cindy is great to work with! The property is not only in the perfect location, but the house amenities are just what we needed for our family, which includes three kids under 10. I cannot recommend enough!

What a great home! We have stayed at many VRBO rentals from Corolla to Avon and this is one of the cleanest homes we have ever rented. It is beautifully decorated, the spaces were just right for our two couple adventure, and the organization of items (from kitchen to bath) was something we haven’t seen before. We all said we would stay here again and recommend this home without hesitation. If we had one wish, it would be for a bit of water at the house - hot tub, small wade pool or something. I understand the expense of that isn’t practical and it wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. You won’t be disappointed staying here!! Thank you for a GREAT stay!

The Three Mermaids Cottage exceeded all expectations for our first visit to the Outer Banks. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and coziness. It was so fun to hang out there. Lots of fun games and activities were provided. The walk to and from the beach was easy and convenient, and we of course loved the outdoor shower! We appreciated being able to use the beach equipment, too! Jim and Cindy were incredibly helpful with communications about the weather and things do to in the area, as well as accommodating us when we thought we may need to cancel/reschedule. We are super glad we were able to make the trip after all, and would absolutely stay there again!

Very clean & organized cottage close to everything!The owners thought of everything from the towel holders outside, to the perfect kitchen, to new bbq grill & details all throughout home, would def stay here again, revommend to anyone searching.

This was our first time in OBX and also our first time ever renting a home. Had many options to choose from but this house just really stood out from the rest. The home was exactly as described. Absolutely perfect location. Short walk to the beach was a necessity for us and this home provided just that. Home was clean, spacious and offered everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Owners were very attentive and available should any issue arise. Will definitely be keeping this home on our list of places to return to in the future.

Property is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and close to everything. Easy walk to the beach. Beach was not crowded. Able to walk to many things and short drive to shopping, restaurants, Wright brothers museum and other activities.

We had a fantastic time at this immaculately clean, abundantly well-stocked, ideally located beach house. There wasn't a thing we were lacking, and the entry and exits were well communicated and easy. I'd recommend the house and the hosts to any family looking for a mix of beach time, relaxation around the grounds, and easy outings from coffee to breakfast to groceries, to ice cream. satisfying trip on the beach, around town.

This was my family's second time staying at the Three Mermaids Cottage and it was even better than the first (which was wonderful to begin with). The house itself is beautiful and equipped with everything you could want or need, including kitchen supplies, games, and beach toys. You can't beat the location - walkable to the beach, Food Lion, Dowdy Park playground, and two coffee shops! Cindy is friendly and communicative, and she even called me to let me know when the house was ready for check-in. The entire booking process was simple and everything was advertised. I highly recommend the Three Mermaids Cottage for a family with young kids, but it would also be perfect for a couple or small friend group. Our kids (ages 4-7) loved the extra personal touches as well, such as leaving a memory on a seashell and filling out the guest book. Thanks for an amazing experience!

The room we rented was beautifully decorated, very comfortable for fun and laughter and perfect distance to the beach. We will definitely be returning if we can get a booking.

Our stay at The 3 Mermaids Cottage was exactly what we had hoped for! Beautiful weather and peaceful, quiet neighborhood! Cottage was perfect and host was so thoughtful and considerate!

This home is centrally located to all the activities on the Outer Banks - close to the beach and a grocery store. Very clean with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Our communication with the owner was great - she was available and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Really cute decor. Highly recommend!

This lovely find provided a cozy and tranquil home-base for all our vacation activities. Everything was just as pictured/ described. The house is very close to shopping and dining, and we enjoyed daily walks to both. The owner, Cindy, was always quick to respond and very accommodating. The home is filled with enchanting beach decor, cozy reading nooks, and soothing colors which accentuate the inviting cottage feel. Also, extremely clean! The owners have thought of everything imaginable: well-stocked kitchen, linens, beach gear, and all the basic house supplies you will need. We highly recommend this charming hideaway!

We really enjoyed our trip to Nags Head. Weather didn't cooperate, but we did take the short walk to the beach several times during our stay. Nicely decorated and enough space to get away in nooks if quiet time is needed. We took full dvantage of the kitchen, grill, rocking chairs, and swing, which was a good distraction from the weather.

We had an amazing vacation and stay at the 3 mermaids. The home was so comfortable and very clean. We were so happy there. It was so hard to leave 😊

Look no further! Three Mermaids was amazing! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked, bedrooms had linens and bonus was beach gear. The house is an easy walk to the beach. Perfectly located next to Food Lion, restaurants and shops. We rented bikes and had a blast getting around on them.Cindy was great with communication! Will definitely rent again!!
