Perfect location with easy highway access to downtown Kansas City and Olathe, yet tucked in a quiet neighborhood that felt like a real retreat.The home is clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was the standout for me, with a generous prep space, baking pans, plenty of dishes, and everything needed for a real meal. We do longer stays specifically to manage our own cooking, and this kitchen didn't disappoint. (Only wishes: a potato peeler and some glass leftover containers — minor!)The bedrooms were comfortable, with ample storage, and the furniture throughout made it easy to relax and decompress.But the real difference was Deb. She was responsive, proactive, and genuinely warm. When a storm came through, she brought flashlights and batteries without being asked. She knew I was in town supporting a parent through surgery and checked in on us throughout the stay. That kind of care is rare and meant everything during a stressful trip.Highly recommend this home and this host.

Great location and great place

Lovely, updated older home in a great neighborhood that was perfect for our needs while in town visiting family. Wide, open floor plan and very comfortable beds. Hot water was almost immediate when turning on, which is always a plus. Wind chill dropped to -1 and it snowed while we were there, but we were warm and snug. The owner, Debbie, was quick to respond when I texted her, but we didn't have any issues during our stay. Debbie, don't forget to notify us if you ever decide to sell!

The house was beautiful, clean, had comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen. The location allows easy access to major streets and interstates. We would definitely book this house again.

Loved staying here for the weekend with our kiddos! Quiet neighborhood but still close enough to attractions. Kitchen was probably the nicest and most well equipped I’ve seen in short term rentals. We loved our stay in this house! It truly felt like being in a warm and cozy home. My kids had a great short weekend trip. We didnt have one complaint about our stay. I will say the coffee maker wasnt working and the owner had a new one delivered that same day! This mama was very thankful for that. The house had everything we could have needed and then some. If we ever come back to the area, we will be renting this property again!

House was darling and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

The house is as pictured. Easy to book. Nice appliances. However, the odor in the home is nauseating. It smelled of soured old socks, unclean dog and mildew. Within an hour, our eyes were watering and our sinuses were burning. It might have the presence black mold because the odor and physical issues we had are symptomatic of black mold. We left within 2 hours as we were becoming more ill from whatever is in the house. The small air cleaner was filthy indicating the filters had not been replaced in quite awhile. There was long hair piled on a seat in one of the chairs. The couch was worn out and smelled of soured dog. The garage was cluttered with barely enough room for a car. The owner of this home needs to have it inspected for black mold, as it could make someone seriously ill if they were to stay longer than we did. The owner refunded our money. I would not leave a review about this but I feel the home is a potential health hazard to people and animals. It needs immediate attention from a qualified environmental professional who specializes in residential mold infestation.

Your house is warm and very inviting. Loved watching the dear in the yard. Fall colors are amazing. Everything you could need seems to be here. I will definitely book again when i come back.

We came to town for the National Lineman Rodeo, that our son-n-law was participating in. We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was clean and comfortable and the location is in a nice quiet area but super close to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this place and would book this again if in the area. Our host was super kind and helpful. She even suggested some fun local kid friendly places to visit. Included some fun Rodeo pictures from the competition.

Very spacious and beautiful home with modern appliances. Centrally located near the Kansas/Missouri border and 15 minutes to the international airport.All the comforts of home!

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The house is in a great neighborhood, very quiet, and close to the city (we were visiting my daughter who lives in downtown KC). Beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was huge and well-equipped and we loved the screened-in sun porch in the mornings. Nothing but great things to say about this place.

We have stayed at this nice home 4 times now, always in the summer while visiting family and friends. It is a great place to stay, roomy and comfortable. The owner, Debbie is very attentive and just plain nice.

I’m using that title because I really enjoyed the decor in this house. I was able to get my walking in as the neighborhood is very walkable and friendly. The house was CLEAN - which was amazing. The house is “smart” which was an added treat. The instructions, check-in/out process was excellent and top tier!

My husband and I came to KC for our grandkids' HS graduation, grad reception, and to do some work around daughter's house. We stayed five nights here. The location was perfect for getting to and from SMNHS and daughter's house. It was also near grocery stores, eating places, and church. We couldn't have asked for a nicer home to stay in. The home is exactly as pictured in the description. Everything was very clean, the bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was wonderful very well equipped with anything we needed to host a few close family members for take-out dinners. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch. It reminded us of the screened in porch the kids had growing up, so it was a perfect place to sit with the family, visit, and reminisce. Our host, Debbie, was super easy to communicate with and even let us get in the house a little early. I would definitely recommend this house for any time you come to KC for a get-away. Quite peaceful neighborhood with huge trees. Close to everything we needed. The property had all the necessary essentials. We felt right at home. This be our go to place to stay when we are in KS to visit family.

Host was excellent, great communication before and during the stay! Check-in was extremely easy. The property is in a very quiet area, but still close to most major attractions. There are plenty of amenities available on the property, which made my stay very comfortable! I would highly recommend this property!

Great place, perfect for a couple or a couple with 1-2 kids. Open floor plan suited us, a feeling of warmth here too. Good location near Mission downtown and access to both routes to south and to KC downtown. We hope to stay here again.

Great stay, central location,well appointed, very clean and comfortable

We liked the open floor plan, the big kitchen, and the king bed in the main bedroom. Because one member of our party uses a wheelchair for mobility the ramp in the garage was super helpful. The rental was close to shopping and our family. We liked the quiet neighborhood. Would rent again!

We spent a week here while receiving treatment at KU Med and Westwood Cancer Center. This was the perfect location. It was very clean and very updated. We loved the neighborhood for walks and talked to several neighbors. We felt very safe. Debbie was very quick to resolve an issue we had with the tv. Coming over immediately to help us solve the problem. Highly recommend this property. Target and Hy-vee are very close as well.

We have stayed here several times before and loved it. In the past, Debbie has been communicative and friendly but something changed with this stay and it felt more like we were dealing with a 'corporate landlord'. We were traveling from 5 and 8 hours away, and had asked a week or so in advance if we could check in early. Debbie replied they had people checking out that morning so it depended on whether the cleaners were done. THAT WAS FINE. We planned our travel based on not having early access. However, we got to the house 15 minutes early and could not get in. I messaged Debbie about being locked out and she never replied to me. It turned out that the code did not work on the door until exactly 4pm, even though the cleaners were gone. We only figured it out by randomly trying the code after waiting about 20 minutes for Debbie to respond to my message. Communication was non-existent. We also had other small issues with the house during our stay, such as dirty dishes in the cupboards and the AC not keeping the house as cool as we would have liked. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be staying here again.
