Stayed Jun 11, 2023Rented this house for our family vacation. I will start with the positives - great location. Husband enjoyed having our boat at the dock to use easily with our son. Mattresses were soft. Plenty of towels and wash cloths available. Fairly stocked kitchen. Negatives - unable to use elevator at the house. when you have two small children (including a 4 week old), you have a lot of stuff. would have been nice to use instead of having to go up and down the stairs numerous times in the heat. there were dirty towels left from the previous renters as well as beer caps in the grass. The trash was already full and had not been taken out. We ended up buying our own linen for the master bedroom bc the sheets were extremely uncomfortable. The bathrooms need an update but were clean. The wifi was spotty at best and required constant rebooting. We thankfully brought out Roku from home as the smart TV in the living room only would pull up netflix. The one frying pan in the kitchen had Teflon flaking off on our food so we had to purchase one to use as well. Would have also been nice to have had access to the ice machine that is pictured - it had a lock on the plug. The outdoor furniture is extremely outdated, worn, and even torn in some places. For the price of the place, would need more updates for us.
