On the Hiawassee River! Sleeps 6! Only 16 miles from Helen!

Had a relaxing Thanksgiving trip. The neighborhood was quiet, and we were close to restaurants and stores about 10/15 minutes away. The house was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved hearing the river on the back porch. Brasstown Bald is only about 15 minutes from the house and it was worth the drive. Would like to stay again when it's a little warmer.

This home is in a private community. Each residence is unique and spaced well apart. Everything is so serene and the home is perfectly cozy. It's the kind of place you'd love to own for yourself. We will definitely be visiting again and, honestly, can't get back soon enough.

Everything we were expecting was super exceeded from check in/out, kitchen supplies, cleanliness, comfortable bedding, lake view, and night ambiance from porch & deck.

We absolutely love this place! The house was very clean and has everything you need to relax/unwind. We will definitely be back again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Lovely home with all the necessary amenities throughout the home. We had a small issue with some propane tanks but the hosts were super helpful to resolve the issue and provide recompense for any inconveniences we might have experienced. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you!

Location on the river was a delight and enjoyed every minute! Had everything we needed and was cozy and warm. We will definitely be back to enjoy again as we just love the area and the neighborhood. Very relaxing and a perfect stay.

Wonderful property next to the river. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the screened in porch and sitting on the deck with the gas fire pit in the evening. We would definitely recommend staying here. The house has all the comforts of home and it's in a very quiet neighborhood. I guess the only downside is the extremely windy mountain road driving to and from Helen.

Extremely clean, comfortable and very well stocked with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable, living room is so cozy. The back porch was beautiful and the deck on the river stream was so peaceful and perfect. Highly recommend. The Chatuge Lake is breathtaking. Helen was fun. The area is just beautiful.

This is the second time we stayed at this property. Each visit was peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. We found plenty to do with a twenty minute or less ride. The property is fully furnished with extras (k-cups and toiletries come to mind) available to you. Checking in is a breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and anyone we saw was friendly. The property definitely earns five stars.

Great location if you wanna be on the river, it was great to sit there and listen to the river. It was a little low when we were there so no fishing but that’s OK. It was still beautiful. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and it’s very nice. We enjoyed it a lot. I hope to come back.

The house is beautiful but in need of some updates being an older home, especially in both bathrooms.. There are some maintenance issues that need attention, such as the water control knob in the master shower sends water directly to the showier head and none to the tube. The master bedroom TV has some internet issues that caused us to have to call the hosts for assistance. But most of all, the house needs either curtains or shades in the Livingroom to provide some privacy from view from the outside. It is a neighborhood setting so there is some traffic back and forth. The furniture around the fire table needs painting and one chair needs repair. When we arrived the yard needed mowing. On the positive side, The house sits right on the river, and I mean right on it! There are just a few steps from the beautiful back screened porch down past the grill and fire table to the water. The view of the river is fabulous. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There are ample towels and linens, and the beds are super comfortable. The sunroom/bedroom is really a nice addition to the sleeping arrangements. The back screened porch is wonderful with plenty of seating for meals, playing games, or just sitting and listening to the river flow by.. The furniture and fixtures are comfortable and unique to this home. We were a bit disappointed the next door neighbors were so close as they are in subdivisions, so if you are looking for a rustic mountain setting, this isn't it.

Everything about this rental was A. Beautiful home, with all amenities. Owner did not spare a dime when providing everything that could possibly make a wonder vacation. Just sitting and listening to the running water of the river would have been enough, but great beds and linens, fully equipped kitchen and I can’t forget that wonderful bed swing on the closed in porch!!! . Just a small piece of heaven.

We rented this cabin for my Son and his young family as we had a big birthday celebration at our house across the river and needed the extra rooms. Perfect getaway.

My friend and I stayed just to get away and have a few days together to visit. We spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs by the river—- it was fantastic! House is lovely and well appointed— absolutely recommend!

This place was a dream. The Christmas decorations were so perfect. We watch fly fishers off of the deck. So cool. Our whole family was so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend!

This property is gorgeous!! Very cozy and close to Helen or downtown Hiawessee. The back porch is so big and comfortable. The house was beautifully decorated fir Christmas. We will definitely return to this property.

The lodging was perfect for the six of us. Beautiful setting in a rural neighborhood. Property right on the river, but also close to neighbors. If your I te ton is to have early outdoor nights, this is perfect. I do not recommend if thinking this is good for outdoor fires, loud music and late nights. The location was great for us, but a distance from groceries and restaurant. Host was very pleasant to communicate with. Property was very clean and felt like home!

This was my 5th time to stay at Tynman! If you want peace and relaxation, this is the place! We usually spend the majority of our time on the amazing screened-in porch, watching and listening to the rushing river! At night we love to sit around the fire pit by the river. It’s exceptionally clean and the hosts are wonderful! Don’t miss this one!
