Stayed Oct 9, 2025The house was Great! The 2 bikes that came w/ the house were a great addition. There were plenty of bathroom towels. Everything was clean & location to the beach access was very close & easy to get to. Just a few things we weren't thrilled with...Since our stay was for 6 nights, I wasn't happy with the fact that there were only 3 trashbags in the kitchen, 2 rolls of papertowels, 3 pods for the dishwasher, & a tiny dishsoap that was barely enough for one day. The house sleeps 9, & the cost reflects that. When I asked for more of those items they explained that they only supply a starter amt. I asked if we could at least get the a couple dishwasher pods & never rec'd a response. The toiletries for the bathrooms were sub par as well & one appeared to already have been used. I reached out w/ a question the night we arrived & rec'd a message that it was after hours...Never got an answer the next day. Make sure you read the instructions for the oven, as its not easy to figure out if you're not familiar w/ the brand. I was unsure where the instructions were, but finally figured it out on my own. Don't remember seeing them in the 3 ring binder. Ice machine didn't work either in the fridge. If you're planning on cooking, you'll need to buy EVERYTHING, as there's not even salt & pepper in the house. Prior to our trip, I had reached out asking if there were beach towels, the rental company didn't think so, since they weren't listed, but there were plenty, along w/ beach toys & chairs!

Stayed Jun 30, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Thyme on the beach! There is a carriage house that you can also rent with the main house that we would prob have rented if had known about it. That was prob on us for not recognizing how to see that it had one! We were looking for something close to the beach that was reasonably priced. There are no beach views but you are not paying for them. The house was updated and clean. Wonderful kitchen and living room area. Comfortable beds, linens, towels. Great outdoor space. Would def stay here again!

Stayed Jun 2, 2024Stayed here last year around same time. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, ease of access to beach, house, etc. We were anticipating the same this year, however, the home was in disarray. We found multiple dishes in the drawers that had caked on food. The furniture both outside and in the dining room area had bolts falling out of them making them safety hazards. The grill was absolutely disgusting and needed extensive cleaning prior to use, not to mention the temperature control was broke. Luckily my father-in-law is somewhat of a grill master and made it work. All in all it’s still a good location and has a lot of ups but could be 100% better if someone was taking the time to keep it up.

Stayed Mar 30, 20244 Stars only because the stove wasn’t igniting and ice maker wasn’t working. We bought ice and used the one burner stove plug in that was there and we were okay. We mainly ate out anyway with the exception of two days where the gas grill came in handy and ordered fresh cooked seafood from our favorite joint, Goatfeathers in Seagrove. The house was impeccable and we were able to accommodate us plus a few of our daughter’s friends for a night. We walked everywhere and didn’t even need the bikes that were provided, thank you btw. We LOVED the kitchen so updated and had everything except crab crackers but we handled it no problem, may want to add a few since you can order steamed fresh seafood from goatfeathers! All of the beds and bunk beds with trundle were very comfortable! Linens and towels were of great quality and did I mention the wetroom with tub in shower was gorgeous!!! Management was superior, and we’ve stayed with many of the 30a rental companies. Hands down they do top notch cleaning and service for their rentals!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, we truly needed the break mentally and the spring break kids in flocks of 100-300 each night were just plain entertainment for us. They closed the beach’s and the seaside square to everyone due to the large crowds. There really wasn’t anywhere they could go so they flooded the streets. The police did an outstanding job diverting and controlling them. Major kudos to So Wal and seaside PD!!!! Will def be back!

Stayed Apr 10, 2023Great location close to center of Seaside and beach for spring break trip with 7 high school boys. House is beautiful but wasn’t expecting carriage house to be in front of the main house. Very comfortable king beds upstairs with two full bathrooms. Downstairs bath is only a half bath so boys all had to share one shower upstairs. There is an outdoor shower that has hot water which a few boys used. The sofa bed is not comfortable and no blanket around to make the bed with. The double doors are very difficult to lock and close completely. They ended up blowing open during an overnight storm and needed to use chair to keep them closed. The Italian oven is the most difficult thing to light even after watching several YouTube videos. The maintenance staff was very helpful to show us how to get in on but we still had problems after. The settings on the tv are problematic too since there are child protection settings so you can’t watch any movie except G. Overall loved the location, house is beautiful but set up wasn’t ideal for a group of seven boys and two moms.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental is awesome. It's a very short walk to the beach, and conveniently located to the Seaside square. The home was clean and looks like the pictures. Overall, it was a great place to stay. However, here's a few key things that would've been helpful to know on the front end. Maybe these pointers will help out future renters!1) There IS a keypad holding the key. It is on the fence to the left of the front door. If you arrive in the dark (like we did), the first house is the carriage house and behind it is the main house. Luckily when we arrived, the house was completely unlocked/unsecured with keys on the counter. The technician (see #4) showed us where the keypad holding the key was located.2) To unlock or lock ANY door, lift up on the handle first. This sounds easy but we struggled with it a bit.3) The TVs all use YouTube TV. If you want to watch anything Amazon, it can't be anything over PG. There was no way to log out or change settings. It was obviously child protected, and nothing was done by management to correct it. 4) The range (stove/oven) is Italian. Very fancy. They say the oven works...any maybe it does. After several tries and a call to the owner, a technician came out. He was able to get it to work after many tries. I own a catering business and consider myself very familiar with kitchen equipment. We never got the oven to work.
