Excellent location, lovely home, plenty room, outdoor space and parking, on the edge of downtown.
Perfect location, comfortable and cozy home, beautifully maintained, and the owner was so accommodating and easy to work with.
Our family stayed at this beautiful, well kept, St Pete bungalow while our home, up the street, was being renovated. This home is in walking distance to everything downtown including museums, restaurants, movie theater, waterfront, and pier. The free looper trolley is awesome to get around downtown…drivers are always a lot of fun. The house itself has a great layout. There are two bedrooms on one side of the house and a front area with a futon, for extra sleep space. The house is extremely clean and well stocked with necessities in the kitchen. For a small bungalow, there is a lot of room to spread out. Note this house is on a busy street. There is a lot of traffic noise, but completely worth it to be so close to so many things. Great owners and caretakers that are responsive to any issues and concerns.
Stayed at the home during a long work project. The owner was very responsive to any request. Cozy home with a great workspace, fenced in yard, very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone that is staying in the downtown area. It is convenient to the highway, the bus system and is a few blocks walk from the pier and many local restaurants.
We really enjoyed our 8 day stay in this vintage home. It had plenty of room was in a great location. We have stayed in many VRBO's around St Petersburg and this was our favorite, especially traveling with our dog.
The house is clean, and its location is perfect. We enjoyed walking down to Beach Drive, Central Avenue, strolling around Historic Round Lake Park, etc. Our dog enjoyed its fenced backyard and the quiet side of the Old Northeast neighborhood as well. Since it is on a main street, the access to Tampa or St Pete Beach is easy (naturally the downside is the noise.) Although it is not something Ron could control and should not be the constant issue, the two of his neighbors were fixing their houses all day during our stay and the sound of drill unfortunately added to the noise. So, if you need to work, it may be a good idea to ask Ron about the situations beforehand). Ron is very responsive. Overall, it is a nice, clean, cute house for a family to stay and explore St Pete and we enjoyed the stay.
This house met our needs. We needed a place to stay while we sold our house . We have a dog and the fenced area was so nice and convenient . Only downfall was the noise factor as the house is on a main road. It was not too terrible as we had sound machines. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the house for you. . It is a particulary great house/location for younger people as it is close to downtown and within walking distance to nightlife, restaurants, etc. The owner and property manager were very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again.
This house was great for me and my parents while I was getting medical care in downtown St. Pete. It was nice to have two bedrooms that both had a comfortable queen bed as well as a bathroom. The home was well stocked,, and drawers were labelled for ease of finding things. Our Pomeranian enjoyed the fenced backyard.
Owned a property in Old Northeast for for years and came back to visit family and friends. Found this property to close to the action. Close to Beach Drive and all it has to offer and close to major traffic and noise associated to a major intersection. Pier and waterfront was wonderful but the traffic noise overwhelmed at times. Backyard was great. Junior enjoyed the ability to scrounge around and worked off some energy. House itself has all you need. Back bedroom certainly provided a shelter from the distractions.
This is a nice, historic home at the southern edge of the Old Northeast. It's perfect for accessing downtown and the bayfront, and I-275 can be accessed just down the street if you want to head to the beaches or back over to Tampa. Ron was a great host and communicated quickly. We hope to stay again!
