Old Mill Bend - Fantastic location to River, Restaurants and Fun

Come stay in our Charming McKay Park Retreat and experience all Bend has to offer!

McKay Park Retreat is a bright and cheerful 2 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bathroom townhome just steps from the Deschutes River and McKay Park. It is also a short drive or walk to the Mount Bachelor Park and Ride Shuttle service where you can ride worry free up to the mountain and enjoy the slopes. This well cared for townhome sleeps 4 comfortably on 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. We offer a fold-out futon for families of 5. Both bedrooms are upstairs.

The location of this Townhome is ideal for those wanting to be able to ski, ice skate, enjoy the river, walk or bike ride to the Old Mill for shopping, dining, a movie, or a concert at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. We supply 4 beach chairs and towels for your ease and enjoyment.

In the summer you can access the river from McKay Park, just steps out the door, where you can put in your flotilla and float the river to Drake Park or stand up paddle board. There is a Shuttle that picks up throughout the day to give you a Ride back home. For those of you skilled in kayaking and surfing you can also access the wave park from this Park as well. Please educate yourself about the waves through Bend Park and Recreation before use.
You can also walk about 5 minutes up the street to the Pavilion where you can find ice skating in the winter and in the summer, basketball courts, a small climbing wall and skate park for the kids to enjoy. Check the Bend Parks and Recreation web site for more details.
There is a also a great park for younger kids, 3 minutes down the street at Columbia Park.

This is a great location for ski and boarder enthusiasts! We are minutes from the Shuttle service where you can catch a shuttle to Mount Bachelor. Or, you can drive to the mountain in about 25-45 minutes, weather and traffic permitting. We are only a 15 minute drive from the free Meissner and Wanoga Snow parks for awesome Nordic skiing, tubing and snowmobiling.
