Old Florida Charm. Private Beach, Private Pool, Putting Green, 4 Bikes!

Arrived to a Filthy & Unsanitary Home – Would Not RecommendOur stay at this property was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the house was filthy and clearly not prepared for guests. There were party decorations left behind from prior visitors, and drink and food stains and splatter covered the kitchen and dining walls. Both bathrooms had visible mold, mildew, and dirty rugs. There was also feces smeared on the bathroom door and light switch. The home smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being listed as non-smoking.The beds were unhygienic, with unwashed mattress covers, thin worn sheets, and stained pillows. Floorboards, doors, and baseboards were coated in grime, showing long-term neglect. When I contacted the property management company immediately after arrival, they only communicated by message and offered to send the same cleaning crew back, but the home was not in a condition suitable for my family. I had to clean it myself to make it livable and safe from unsanitary conditions.I documented everything with photos and videos. The management company offered only a partial refund of the cleaning fee, even though the property was clearly not cleaned before our stay. This was very disappointing, as the listing did not reflect the property’s true condition. For the comfort and wellbeing of future guests, I recommend looking elsewhere until these issues are properly resolved.

The house and location were perfect! The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is about a 5 minute walk to a private beach that was not crowded. The provided beach chairs were perfect for the location and could be worn as a backpack with storage pockets for our things. Our kids loved the pool and the putting green. We would definitely stay here again!

The neighborhoods private beach was an unexpected blessing. No waking up early to claim a spot. The back yard was an oasis with a real sized pool that my kids could actually play in while I floated on the other end. I can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time staying here again this year. We loved the new landscaping in the yard and the addition of the new chairs by the pool. The only things we weren’t so excited about were the bedding and towels. They were the exact same ones as last year and are becoming a little worn. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the spices for sure! I would love to see the golf cart included with the rental. The price was too high for a cart that only has access to the neighborhood. Other than those small things, we love the house and will probably be back next year.

Great spot! Beautiful home with large pool and plenty of room for dining outside. Easy walk to private access beach. Property management was easy to reach and made the stay even more enjoyable!

It could have been a little cleaner upon arrival, we found beard trimmings on the counter in the hall bathroom and hair in the primary on suite shower. We loved every aspect of the house. The location, private beach and access, pool, patio area and the house were awesome.The house was very neat and clean...along with everything needed to grill....with an extra propane tank....just in case.I would recommend this house to anyone who loves a good time, at a great place.

We loved our stay at Old Florida Charm! The private beach and private pool were simply amazing. Our kids loved the put put area and the downstairs area by the pool was so nice to have, we ate many of our dinners outside. The outdoor shower was so nice to have after beach time. The private beach was amazing and never crowded. Took about 2 minutes to walk to the beach, was not far at all I honestly think its quicker than being in a busy condo waiting for an elevator to get downstairs. The neighborhood was so quiet and quaint and very close to shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe at this house. The property owners are top notch, never had rental management so in contact and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

The home was clean, beds were comfortable and the walk to the beach was easy! Neighborhood was safe and we even had the benefit of an ice cream truck that visited the neighborhood! Outdoor entertainment area was a big plus! Adults and kids in our party give this rental a 10 out of 10!
