The house was just as described. Ohana Pines was cozy, clean and just the mountain cabin we were looking for. We could not have asked for a better host. We highly recommend this house! Two weeks before we didn’t think we’d have snow and then we had snow! It was close to everything and it was a perfect long weekend getaway. we will book it again for sure. It was just the two of us. It would be great for several couples to share. Sometimes you just get lucky and this was one of those times. Thank you!

Third time back in Ohana Pines and this stay was just as perfect as the first two. A great and well maintained cabin along with a gracious and caring host. As I have said before, a rare gem in Sugarloaf.

We loved our stay in this A-frame. With two levels and a very nicely equipped kitchen, we had a great time. The house is so nicely decorated, loved the design!

This is such a lovely little cabin. Every little detail is perfectly attended to and it is SO cozy. The host is incredibly responsive and you can’t beat the price. We highly recommend and we will be booking here again.

Wonderful property in Sugarloaf! Just the right size for my family. The loft is great! Shuttle to the Village stops across the street if you don't want to drive and find a parking spot. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Great cabin and host. The cabin is classic Big Bear style but with a very well done remodel in the interior. Truly a rare gem in Sugarloaf. The host is gracious and engaged but not intrusive. Definitely look forward to the next opportunity to enjoy Ohana Pines!

Love that this location is just outside of The Village in Big Bear. Much easier the get in and out of your driveway in Sugarloaf, than near the lake area. We are a family of 4 and this was a perfect spot for us. We went during a 12 inch snowfall and this cabin had all we needed to take shelter and feel at home. The kitchen was prepped with essentials and appliances. So we stayed in for most meals. The beds were comfy and they provided plenty of blankets/pillows. 3 smart tvs with wifi and plenty of outlets. Kids games and books provided upstairs in the loft. Our children loved having their own area upstairs. The owners provided shovels and an ice scraper for us to use. The indoor decor is modern, but perfect for the woodsy feel. They provided a floor heater which doubled as a snowpants drier. The outdoor property is big enough for a snowball fight and snowman building. We even donated a snowball maker to the yard. Yours if you find it after the snow has thawed. Wish we could have used the outdoor fire pit area, but the fireplace sure did come in handy. The sledding area down the street is private & convenient. No need to pay or park off the side of a street to go play in the snow. In warmer temps, that area is normally a tree lined hiking trail with a creek and looks amazing . The owners kept an open line of communication and I do recommend following them on Instagram for more photos. My family had a great stay and my boys loved seeing snowfall for their first time. We would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you for opening your home to us.

This place has everything you need and more. Cooking was fun and easy due to the kitchen having everything you needed. Fun FREE sledding down the street and amazing house set up to be comfortable for game nights. We will be back again!

My family and I loved our visit here! Very clean, stocked up with all the basics and very close to a general store if there's something you need. My kids loved the games, and the overall layout provided lots of hide-n-seek opportunities! Sitting outside in the yard was so nice and relaxing. We'll be back!
