Steps to the beach and Yaupon pier, and a short drive to groceries and restaurants, this spacious, open floor plan 3 BR/2BA home is the perfect place for couples, friend groups, or multigenerational families to relax or gather for meals, games, and fun, and evenings around the backyard fire pit. With a fully stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators, 2 porches, an outdoor shower, and beach chairs and wagon are provided. Come make memories at OHANA House!



The Space:
r>OHANA House is a comfortable, private, renovated beach cottage on a single level with spacious living space and a well-stocked kitchen. We offer a variety of amenities for an amazing experience. Please note that we have a strict NO PET policy and are unable to make exceptions.



Primary Bedroom: The large primary suite includes a king sized bed, ceiling light/fan, generous dresser and closet storage, smart TV, and ensuite bath with tiled shower.



2nd Bedroom: This bedroom includes a queen sized bed, ceiling fan/light, a closet with spare blankets and pillows, and an antique writing desk for a quiet work space.



3rd Bedroom: The bunk room includes a twin over full bunk and another twin bed. This room has a TV with Roku, a closet with cubby storage, and several children's toys/books.



Living Room: This open space has high ceilings and a ceiling fan with lots of windows, keeping the space bright and airy. This room includes 2 full size couches, a smart TV, a coffee table and end tables.



Dining Room: The table is set for 6 but can accommodate 8 with chairs from the kitchen.



Kitchen: A well-stocked kitchen includes all the appliances you may need: coffee maker, toaster, blender, waffle maker, and more. It also has plenty of cookware, dinnerware, flatware, drinkware, and a stocked spice cabinet. A kitchen counter bar with chairs allows for extra seating and makes a great space for breakfast or engaging with the group while cooking.



Laundry: Washer and dryer are available for your use. The space also has a second refrigerator, hanging bar/hooks, and extra cabinet storage.



Guest Access:

Prior to check-in, you will be issued a unique code to access the lock box. You may not share this code with anyone other than guests staying with your group.



Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. During the busy season (May - August) and other holiday periods, it is difficult to accommodate late check out/early check in requests because we prioritize having the home clean and ready on time for every guest.



The Neighborhood:

The Yaupon Beach area has the best of everything. While the neighborhood is quiet, you are 1 block to the beach and within walking distance to the pier, coffee shops, restaurants, and groceries.



Getting Around:

Parking for 4 cars comfortably: 2 in the driveway and 2 along the street.



The property is located in the Yaupon neighborhood and is one block to the nearest beach access and a short drive or walk to the Yaupon Pier (0.4 miles), dining (0.1 mile), and groceries (1.3 miles).



Some of the popular Oak Island landmarks are just a short drive:

Oak Island Light house: 3.5 miles

Middleton Park: 1.9 miles

Jungle Golf: 1.1 miles



Other Things to Note:

We are unable to accommodate pets at this property.



We do not allow smoking on the property.



Please note that the linen rental service provides clean labeled sheets and bath towels that you will find in a bag inside the front door upon arrival. Guests will be able to make their own beds and have the peace of mind that their linens have been cleaned and sanitized before arrival.



Note for long-term stays: We require cleaning and linen changes every 2 weeks, which will be an additional charge of $285 for each cleaning and will be added to your reservation after your reservation request is accepted.
