The Space

OH, so cozy! is a bright, 920 square foot open-concept basement suite with a private side entrance. This fully stocked space includes:

Guest Access

Guests access and utilize the entire guest suite. Self check-in/check-out are done with keyless entry access. Entry codes and instructions are provided to guests once cancellation deadlines have passed.

Guests will find seven stairs they must go down once they enter through their exclusive side entrance. Guests are not to attempt entering the main floor unit through the access door that separates the two floors. It will be closed.

Guests are not able to access the backyard, and should not store personal items in, nor remove items from the closet located in the stairwell.

Other Things to Note

Please be aware that:

✓ The main floor of the property is occupied by long term tenants.

✓ Guests are allotted one parking spot on the left side when facing the property. Please park as far left as possible to ensure space for the tenants on the right. Thank you for your cooperation!

✓ Please note there is one washer and dryer on the property, located in your guest suite's laundry room. These are shared with the main floor tenants, who access the space each Monday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Kindly keep the stairway and laundry room clutter-free, clean, and tidy. Please refer to the floor plan for a better understanding of the layout.

✓ Essentials that are available to guests include a hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, bed linens, towels, and more. Please see the amenities list for comprehensive details on what is included with your stay.

✓ Pets, young children and infants/toddlers are not suitable guests for my home as I do not have the required safety measures in place.

✓ Please be aware that due to the fact that the main floor is tenanted, you may hear the sounds of daily living coming from above. Tenants have been instructed to respect the needs of guests and to also abide by the house's rules surrounding quiet hours, hosting of parties, and engaging in any activity that can create excessive levels of noise.

✓ Please take care when entering and exiting the driveway as Pharmacy Avenue can be a busy street at certain times of the day.

✓ Please be aware that there are cameras with live recording capabilities on the exterior of the property. At present there are a total of three, one located outside the main entrance, another above the side entrance and a third in the backyard. The footage captured by each camera is of the driveway and exterior of the home. They do not infringe on the privacy of guests, as is Airbnb's policy.

✓ The home’s layout has an opposing orientation: main floor bedrooms are at the back, while the basement bedroom is at the front. Guests must strictly observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and be mindful of noise in the kitchen (which is directly below the main floor bedrooms) if staying up past 10:00 PM. Thank you for your consideration!

✓ Please be cautious of the driveway during winter months, as it can be slippery. Snow removal and salting by third-party services occur only when snowfall exceeds 3 cm. A shovel and salt are provided for your convenience if needed. Stay safe!
