1506 Sandpiper Lane #3B, Gulf Shores

Summer 2026 is ALMOST GONE and 2027 is filling up REAL FAST! Still looking for 2026 Contact us ASAP.

Don't forget, peak season is in swing and during peak season, we book Saturday to Saturday. So, if you're looking and don't see any availability, check to see if your stay duration falls under those parameters as that usually is the problem :) But, as always, feel free to reach out as we are always happy to help!

At 3 Bedrooms and sleeping 10, one side of On Golden Pond 3 is the smallest, and most cost-efficient, of my places. Yet its cute, comfy, and a perfect place to spend your vacay! This listing is for the B unit of On Golden Pond #3.

OGP3A: Nice 3BR for less than a hotel! Community Pool. Dock. Quiet. Relax... for less! Can also be rented as a very affordable 6BR 6BA in the middle of Gulf Shores West Beach.

If you need a really nice smaller home, on a budget, OGP3 is perfect! Most seasons, it is less than the cost of a single hotel room per night, yet located in the middle of West Beach, lagoon side (nice shared dock and pool!), and only a short walk (1/4 mile) to the beach (you walk right next to my Seafoam home!).

3BR 3BA. OGP3 is lagoon side, however, it is not lagoon front (like my OGP5 home is). Easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool all right on the lagoon. Nice! And a nice price!

Looking for something a little smaller than most of my properties Just as nice though! And at a great price! OGP3 may be the perfect place for you!

On Golden Pond #3, aka OGP3, is a beautiful vacation home with easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool all right on the lagoon. OGP3 is on a private cul de sac shared by mostly owner occupied homes. OGP3 is not lagoon front though you can see the lagoon from the front deck for your little peak at the water in the evenings. OGP3 is the north side of a duplex (no shared living spaces) and we know the owners of the other side if you are interested in both, we are happy to reach out. If you want lagoon front, and a little bigger, check out my On Golden Pond #5 home!

This vacation home also features covered parking and access to the dock, pool, and beach. This unit is a tremendous value.

Each side of this lagoon side 3 bedroom, 3 bath duplex home has the following bedding:

BEDDING:
Main Floor Bedroom: King
3rd Floor E Bedroom: Twin over Full Bunk
3rd Floor W Bedroom: King

Main Floor Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa
3rd Floor Lounge Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa

NICE COMMUNITY POOL, FISHING DOCK, AND BEACH
The pool is on the lagoon. Great views of lagoon, pier, dock, while relaxing poolside. The pool is a 24x14x3-5' Community Pool. There's even a small lagoon, sand, beach right by the pool!

Fishing too from the nice community fishing pier and dock.

GULF BEACH ACCESS
Public beach access is a 3 minute walk on a quiet road, then across west beach (as a crosswalk), right next to my Seafoam home! There is ALSO a lagoon front beach by our community pool. MORE Yes. You can take the new pedestrian walkway from the road outside our home to the Calloway Bridge (and the public beach there too!). Nice walk along the lagoon!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 4 cars. In fact, you could park more cars than you should be driving for a 10 person place! Inquire if you have special vehicle needs.

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home! That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like It is generally solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests troubleshooting it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a starter supply of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

That's it! We think you'll have a great stay in our home. Reach out and let us know how we can help!

SNOWBIRDS! Up to 2/3rds off for off-season stays of 28 days or longer.

Everything was just as described! Spotless and clean! We loved the location and the home was perfect for our needs. We had one small glitch and the host was super fast to respond and get everything back on track! The communication was great, exceeded our expectations! We are already planning a return visit! The location is perfect, and steps away from the beach, close to all the fun, but quiet and peaceful!

This property was everything we wanted it to be and more. The layout was perfect for 3 couples! We each had our own bathrooms and space! The location was also perfect! Very easy walk to the beach, and far enough off the beaten path to be serene among the hustle and bustle of 40,000 people in town for Sand in My Boots festival. It was approximately 3 miles from The Hangout, and a very easy walk for any walkers. We chose to Uber to the festival to avoid the heat and walk back afterwards. The beds were comfy and water pressure was perfect. Will definitely book again.

Thought this was a great location in Gulf Shores. So many reasons! We love having access to the Little Lagoon as well as having a quick walk to the Gulf. Best of both worlds. I have boys that love to fish and having a pretty private dock on the lagoon is spot on. You are a couple minutes walk to the 13th St. beach and it is not crowded. So beautiful. Also, feels like a quiet neighborhood if you want to take a walk. There is a boardwalk so close along the lagoon that we loved. Those peepers were singing our song! House was clean and so comfy. No problems with anything working. We had two adult couples, two teens and one 10 yr old. Perfect size and everyone had space. We even had a lagoon view off the decks. Just minutes from stores, restaurants, shopping, or scenic drives! But just far enough from too many people crowding your space.

Our family of five felt right at home during our stay. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The place was a quick five minute walk to the public access beach as well as a two minute walk to the private dock shared by the cul-de-sac. The area was very family and dog friendly. The Gulf Shores locals were the friendliest community of all of our stays.[??? Thank you so much Sarah! Glad you all had a fantastic time and felt right at home--and that the locals were super friendly too. Love that you had a lovely experience. Happy to have you back anytime! Thank you so much! ?

The property was very nice and clean and plenty of room! Very close to walk to beach! Furniture was not very comfortable for long term guest! Metal chairs got very hard! Must be willing to climb stairs, lots and lots of stairs! Or need to be in good physical shape or maybe just a little younger! Overall good experience and great price!

We really enjoyed our stay at OGP3. The management company was great and kept in touch via email. Everything went smoothly. It's very clean and neat. I love the paint colors and decor. It's really cute and located in a great spot.... Thank you for the great stay. We want to come back and stay in one of your bigger places on the beach with our kids and grandkids. That looks wonderful!

Great stay in a very nice beach home. From the very comfortable bed to accommodating kitchen, everything was set up perfectly. The only thing you need to bring are your clothes/personal items, food, and drinks. We would definitely stay here again.[? Thanks so much for the wonderful all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review, from checkin, to cleaning, to checkout, I am so glad everything was great for you all! I would be very happy to host you all again anytime. DM me when ready to lock that down, or if you have any suggestions at all for our place, communications, support, whatever! Thanks again Amy! ?]

We enjoyed our stay it was a quick and easy walk down to the beach. The nearby lagoon was a nice little spot to walk to and sit at. My only complaint would be that there were some stains on the couch and it did not quite feel as clean as I'd hoped for. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time! [? Thanks Selena! Really happy to hear you had a fantastic time in our home, and that everything went very well. I am sorry to hear that some stains on the couch, dust, and that it did not smell strongly like cleaning products downgraded the overall experience to a still-stellar 4 stars--just not our usual 5 star rock n' roll! We'll get that lonely ⭐️ back next time! Sometimes things like the stains happen and the cleaners can't get it out in a summertime same day turn--but we can always send the upholstery guys out if something like that happens in the future and it bugs you--just don't like to intrude during the week, but happy to do so next time if you reach out about it, or anything else you might find a little off, during the stay. ? Thanks so much for staying in our place, and I hope to see you all again in the future! Reach out if you need anything at all, have other suggestions, or when ready to return!]
