Stayed Jul 17, 2021The overall stay from beginning to end was nice. The house was as described and had plenty of room for 10 of us. The pool, hot tub and decks were especially fun to use. The only issue we experience was the freezer had ice buildup, which prevented the ability to make ice and caused constant leaking onto the kitchen floor for the entire week.

Stayed Sep 12, 2020This was our very first vacation to NC. We plan on making it an annual vacation for our granddaughters and family. Upon arrival (after a 10 hr drive) we wanted nothing more then to unload our vehicles and relax But upon arrival, we found ourselves running out to the store for cleaning supplies to clean Before we could even take our personals in the house!! There were dead bugs on steps and in 2 of the bathrooms, there was used soap left in the showers, sand all over the floors, ants all over the kitchen counters, hair and toothpaste in the bathroom sinks, stains in the toilets (as if they haven’t been scrubbed in a month), one roll of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels were our ‘welcome gift’, smoke detectors had dead batteries and some had no batteries and they kept beeping all night! Our experience at this particular location was not at all what we expected and needless to say we will not ever stay here again!! I emailed the property manager and left them know how disappointed we all were but heard Nothing back from them, instead they sent a maintenance man the next day (never pre-warned or notified us) and he replaced smoke detectors throughout the house. He also fixed the broken pool gate that we couldn’t get closed and I was not happy with that either as we had a 3 and 4 year old with us and the last thing we needed was little ones to gain access to the pool and something happen!! This was by far not a good experience house-wise but the rest of our trip was wonderful and we loved the beach and the pool.

Stayed Apr 13, 2019We have a great week here! Upon arriving, the top floor air conditioner was broken. It took until the next day to fix it. The heat wasn’t unbearable, but not pleasant. During the stay, the internet and cable was very spotty. However, the house and OBX was perfect!
