Stayed Sep 7, 2024Great communication with people in charge of the property. Treated like VIP guests Had almost everything we wanted stocked in the property plus things that came in handy like an iron, slippers, and robes. Bath and body product provided was very good quality. Not completely private but close enough to feel like it Absolutely stunning views from backyard Beach access was super convenient outdoor amenities like lawn chairs, hot tub and outdoor eating area were great. Outdoor shower was a really nice bonus Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella etc. being available. Enjoyed watching some of the local wildlife from the yard, such as geckos, chickens, birds, were able to watch manta rays in the ocean from the beach. Stunning sunsets, beautiful views of the stars and neighboring islands. Owners of property were always available and responded quickly. Even helped with questions about things to do and sights to see. Overall, a fantastic experience for our wedding and honeymoon and worth the money!

Stayed Jan 10, 2020Wow! I wish I could give 10 stars for the location and comfort of the property - fabulous home. We celebrated our 35th anniversary in a place that was truly paradise and incredibly relaxing. The home is well equipped with everything you would need. Elegant, yet inviting. The experience and memories were worth every dollar (not to mention the attention to detail from the staff and concierge team). Thank you for a fabulous experience.

Stayed Oct 16, 2019The house stocked everything we needed and exceeded my expectations (i.e. laundry detergent & beach blankets/chairs/umbrella)! The location was picturesque and exactly what we were looking for. The beach was rocky but so much better than anticipated since the tides moved the pebbles on and off the sand throughout our stay. My kids really enjoyed playing in the backyard. It will always be one of our fondest family vacations.

Stayed Apr 25, 2019My husband and I have been to Maui 10 times. We have always stayed at the top ranked hotels Wailea area. This time we opted for this darling bungalow. Full disclosure... I was suspicious that perhaps the photos were enhanced because they looked so perfect. Boy was I wrong!!! This place is every bit as gorgeous as you see in the photos and then some! We literally didn’t want to leave this little piece of heaven for the views alone! My other major concern prior to arrival were the beds (I had back surgery 10 weeks prior to arrival). The bed was so incredibly comfortable, I didn’t want to get up in the mornings, but then I remembered that view! There is nothing as serene as sitting on the back deck, staring at the view and listening to the birds. Another bonus was the property management. They were so incredibly kind and accommodating. It really was the best service we’ve received in all of our travels. I truly believe my husband and I have never been as relaxed as we were this trip. I think after 10 times in Maui and many times elsewhere, this was our first real “vacation”.

Stayed Jul 15, 2017The sunset estate and bungalow is a stunning set of properties and worked perfectly for our family vacation (10 adults, 7 children). As the name suggests, you are treated to beautiful sunsets each evening that can be enjoyed on a huge patio complete with a pool. Being on the oceanfront, we were even lucky enough to have a couple sea turtles visit the beach in front of the house. The property managers were extremely helpful leading up to the trip and during our stay (offered to plan activities, help with rentals, etc.). The property managers also recommended a private chef (they provided a list; we selected Chef John) who prepared a fantastic surf & turf dinner for our group. We would highly recommend this property!

Stayed May 31, 2017What an amazing place to spend time in your own private paradise! The house is decorated beautifully and the pictures are almost accurate - it's actually cuter and cozier than it looks in the photos. The first day we were very alarmed as large pods were being thrown at the house. I decided that the house was infested with invisible monkeys. After a bit of research, we learned the invisible monkeys were actually a monkeypod tree. You'll see large pods littering the deck - break one open and smell it. It's a woodsy smell of mesquite and anise. We made a point to watch every sunset at the house. Even though there are houses on either side, it feels very private. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there's fantastic snorkeling right in front of the house (assuming the water is clear). We enjoyed the house so much that we stayed in far more than we planned. If you're looking for a private, secluded ocean paradise, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I spent more than a week at WSB with our teenage daughter and her friend. While there is only one bath, there are three words to describe this place: location, location, location! Waterfront, in Wailea, but really a world away as it is so private. Perfectly equipped, attractively decorated, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I stayed in the Bungalow for 5 days, and the place is amazing. The pictures are spot on. It is really very private, and the back yard is very large. The cottage is quaint, and in great condition. It is also well provisioned with everything needed, except groceries. It only has one bath, so I would not recommend it to a larger group, 4 people is probably max. The place is very appropriately named as the sunsets were fantastic. We took the lawn chairs right down to the water’s edge every night, and there was a small turtle swimming around the rocks every morning for coffee. When we were there, the two homes on either side were unoccupied, so it was absolutely quiet and practically private other than a few beach combers, or a passing kayak.
