Oceanfront villa with pool, beach access, ocean view, partial AC & strong WiFi

The entire rental was nice.

Overall we had a nice, relaxing time at this property and really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean inside, the bedrooms were nice and cool with the A/C on (the rest of the place was very warm!), and the pool was fantastic, with a beautiful view. We lucked out both on the weather being sunny all week although it was the rainy season, and also in that we didn't have anybody staying at the unit above us, so we had the pool all to ourselves the whole visit. The area was fine aside from having construction next door and people clearing the adjacent lot and burning debris, with ashes landing in the pool. Some areas that needed work: the outdoor area surrounding the pool could have been cleaned up a bit. There was someone's old tank top left on one of the chairs, and trash had been thrown down in the holes where the palm trees grow out of. There were also coconuts that had fallen all over the place, and 3 fell while we were actually outside in the pool. That's dangerous because those things are heavy and could hit you if you were directly under one of the trees, which was totally possible. Someone should go around and knock down the old ones that are about to drop, as well as clean up all the fallen ones. Also, the beach area was hard packed sand, not fluffy and raked. The door lock broke while we were there too. Small things, but worth mentioning.

Great location and the house was perfect. Anna, the local Operations Manager, provided us with a stress free vacation and handled all our requests before we got there. Will come back to View the Blue.

We have said we wouldn’t do Belize any other way. The house was great and met every expectation! The water is beautiful and the beach area was clean . It’s a man made beach with a sea wall and the dock just beyond . The pool was wonderful too. Surprisingly not too hot. Carter came by the Check and treat the pool. He was a joy to chat with. The only recommendation that I have is for a mattress pad similar to the one on the room by the restrooms. The room by the kitchen has an extra firm mattress . This house is perfect for families and those traveling that would like everyone to have their own space. We will be back; hopefully, sooner than later.

This was a great house. It accommodated us perfectly. The beds were comfortable, a/c was there when we needed it. We loved waking up to sit on the veranda and watch the sunrise as it glistened on the water. We walked the pier to see the different sea life and even got a couple of conches that had washed up. The house is straight across from the Hol Chan reserve and tours come to the dock to pick you up. Great location. On a bad note, and not the blame of the house at all, the road outside of town has a lot to be desired. Since golf carts are the only form of transportation, it is so rough with potholes and divots, it seems like the longest 3 1/2 miles every!

We visited View the Blue for a milestone birthday event. The house was perfect for our group of nine. Plenty of room and a beautiful, beautiful view. We loved the family of iguanas under the stairs. The pool was clean and refreshing. Lupita took excellent care of us. She arranged cabs to and from the ferry and even came out to the house when we had trouble with the internet. We had a beautiful week with our family and dearest friends. View the Blue is a wonderful place and we highly recommend the house, Lupita and her staff.
