Oceanfront Views at Good Day Sunshine

This home was exactly as described. Easy access to the beach, amazing views. Very comfortable outdoor area. Parking was covered which made it nice to unload our vehicle in a rain storm. The hot tub was well maintained and perfect for chilly nights. Each room had a smart TV and the kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the owner was great as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Our time at the house was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub the most! The kids had the best time playing in the sand under the house with all the beach toys that were in the storage area under the house. The host was quick to get back to me in regards to any questions I had.

The views are spectacular. Bedrooms are good sized and adequately furnished. The kitchen is well equipped - everything we needed. Love the deck furniture. We were there two weeks and had a great time!

We had a wonderful week at your house! The view is spectacular and everything in the house was perfect. The house was very clean, close to the beach and very cozy. It had books, games, a beverage fridge and everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed the beach, the hot tub, playing foosball, visiting Bodie Lighthouse, Manteo, and many restaurants. I would highly recommend!

Very easy access to the beach, with a life guard stand right there....which is nice with young kids. Easy parking and everything you needed in the kitchen for making meals. No stores or restaurants within walking distance but all were within a short drive. Very comfortable space for 2 families with total of 4 adults and 4 kids.

Beautiful property, great location, and wonderful weather made this trip exceptional! Will always rent here as long as I am able. Love it!

We had a great stay at Good Day Sunshine. The deck offered views of surfers a in the afternoon and dolphins at sunrise. Walk out of the driveway and you are just a few feet from the beach. The beach is not crowded due to no public parking access in close proximity. Plenty of nearby options for food and off beach activities and right down the road from Bodie Island Light.Kelli, the host, was very easy to work with, responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure her guests enjoy their stay. We will definitely stay at Good Day Sunshine again.

This was our first time to OBX and we had a blast! We couldn’t have gotten any luckier than to have snagged Good Day Sunshine! We had plenty of space for the 7 adults we had. Had to take shifts with the bathrooms but that was doable. The best part….the views in the morning and the proximity to the beach! Everything worked well and the host gave us lots of ideas for fun things to do!

We really enjoyed our stay at Good Day Sunshine. We loved sipping coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the ocean and relaxing in the hot tub after long days fishing on the beach. The house has plenty of rooms for larger groups to stay but maintains a cozy feeling. We loved being close to restaurants, shopping and attractions but without staying right in the most heavily trafficked areas. The check in and check out process was easy and communication with Scott and Kelly was excellent. One of the outdoor lightbulbs was burnt out and they had it replaced in less than 24 hours. The house was clean, stocked with most things we needed and allowed a comfortable place for us to relax. We would love to return again in the future.

My family had a great stay! Everything was very clean and as described. We were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. Location was perfect and my boys enjoyed running back and forth to the beach all day! long.

It’s a sleepy time of year in Nags Head, and that’s exactly the vibe we needed for a relaxing spring break. This property was perfect for long beach walks, watching the sunrise with porch coffee, and cooking great meals in the evening.

My wife and I spent an extended weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This house and location to the beach was exactly what we wanted for a low-key vacation. The house was clean and organized/decorated beautifully. the only issue we ran into was the heat seemed to be acting weird. However, I got in touch with the property manager, and we were able to figure out a solution with the smart thermostat. Once we figured out the proper setting, everything was great.

I spent a week at this lovely property during the week of Christmas. The house is everything that the pictures show and more! You have incredible views of the ocean and feel protected by the substantial sand dunes. What a great piece of property this is to be at the beach. You have a short walk on a new walkway to the shore and it is effortless.The decks around the house are sturdy and offer great views of sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub is fairly new and is very clean and ample for 4 to six adults. You sit in the tub and have incredible views of the night sky. What a treat! Once inside, you have a short stairway to the living area and it is indeed lovely. The sofa and loveseat are so comfortable and new. The large screen TV is perfectly placed for multiple viewing. There is a large dining table that is so sturdy and well placed for beautiful views all the way around. There is also seating at the breakfast counter which is so convenient. The kitchen is perfect for a large family meal. The refrigerator/freezer is new and runs perfectly. The same goes for the new dishwasher which is extremely quiet. There are plenty of plates, cookware, knives to make any meal a pleasure. There is also a massive foosball table adjacent to the kitchen area for additional fun.The NEST thermostat on this level was extremely responsive and heated the house up quickly when needed. The downstairs has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms all so nice. The owner is great!THANK YOU KELLI!!!

For the first time our family tried out a November beach trip and it was wonderful! Our stay was just perfect!

The house felt like a home. It waa clean and well supplied. I loved that the beach was so close and accessible.

I've been coming to the OBX every fall for 30 years to do some fishing! This year we decided to change it up and try Nags Head. I have to say Good day sunshine blew me and my fellow fishermen's expectations away! It was so much better than any place we've stayed at before!

We love the location and price on this rental. The owner is great at returning our calls and questions. Three of us are in our 80's and were able to do stairs easily, Enjoyed the view of the ocean from the deck.

Lovely home with incredible view, steps from the beach. Super comfortable with all the ammenities as described. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean, perfect any time of day. Great location close enough to restautants and grocery stores, but removed from the hustle . It was warm enough 2 days to sit on the beach and get in the ocean. So nice! Hope to visit again!!! This was our second stay at Good Day Sunshine and we hope to be back again next year. The accommodations are just what's needed at a beach house and the view is spectacular. We're especially fond of the nice deck furniture for enjoying the ocean view. The owners are very responsive for the little things that come up and check-in was a breeze.

The location is amazing, the property is beautiful. We had an amazing time and can't wait to do it again!

Nice well maintained house. Very clean. Had salt and pepper along with other spices available. Just steps from the beach. Also very nice views of the ocean. Saw dolphins 1 evening from the deck. Would stay there again

A beautiful home with amazing views. The pictures are 100% what you get! A short walk to beach access with stairs and boardwalk. Lovely hot tub to relax in at night. The home had everything you could need! Easy access, great communication with the host Kelli. Only problem is our week went by was too fast!

We spend a wonderful week at Good morning Sunshine. It was a great vacation for family right off the beach with wonderful views from the porch. We had a mix of kids and adults of all ages. The house comes fully stocked with toys and beach stuff. Love the location, a little way from the hustle felt like a private beach. But a short drive away for anything fun. I would I will definitely recommend it
