Rooms were adorable and the view was to die for. Spa and fire amazing.

This property was super clean. Completely stocked with everything you could need and then some. This house couldn't have been more perfect. We definitely will be back.

House is fantastic.

Clean, and quiet, nice location to walk to the park and lighthouse, beach. We walked to the waterfront. Great view from inside and sitting outside, kids played in the hot tub while we were bundled up sitting outside. Saturday was cool, sunny and beautiful! Great place for our family gathering! Kichen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Fantastic beach house with great location. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again next time in Newport.

This house is amazing!! Its a great place to unwind and enjoy some peace and serenity. From the ample space inside to the amazing amenities outside, this place can't be beat.

If I could give 100 stars I would! We used to come to this home year after year with our four little dogs. We had to stop due to their health concerns. We finally came back with our two little dogs to let them experience the beauty of this house and the amazing views it offers. This house is exceptional! Every time we come it is spotless and you want for nothing. It has everything you could possibly need. The owner of the home is wonderful to work with. He's very prompt and very nice. He has made so many upgrades since our last visit here and they are beautiful! This is a perfect place for a family or even two families to enjoy. It is worth every penny and then some. We have already booked our next day! If you want a beautiful home to stay in with a to die for view this is the place!

Excellent location! We enjoyed daily walks on the rainy beach—there’s a nice loop you can walk from the state park to the community beach access stair case. The spacious house provided a comfortable stay for our extended family. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and the bathrooms are beautiful with recently updated large walk in showers. The gas fireplace made for super cozy evenings while it stormed outside. The view of the ocean was amazing to wake up to daily. My young daughter left a very special stuffed animal behind, and the host and property manager kindly helped us track it down and get it back to us all the way across the country, which we are very grateful for. The host, Rich, was very responsive during our stay as well for any questions we had.

It was a great place to stay with our son and his wife with their two girls!The girls really enjoyed the dance party!We would love to do it again in the future!

Amazing view of the ocean from the house. It was raining the whole time so we didn’t use the hot tub, but I’m sure it would have been great. Single level house, which was great.

Second time at Richard’s place! Did not disappoint! Can’t say enough nice things. Will definitely be back….yet again!

Very nice home and great location. We were warned about shoes inside and sand. There was grit in all the rooms and in the kitchen sink. The most troubling thing was the spiderwebs. Hanging in the family room and especially the bathroom vents. We cleaned most of the ones hanging down but we didn't do the vents.

Wonderful home with a wonderful view.

We were really looking forward to expanding our group into this neighboring property. Having had wonderful repeated stays at the neighboring property, it seemed to be ideal. Unfortunately, the previous guests left an odor that could not be removed by secondary cleaning. We would gladly try again if the plumbing fumes issue was resolved. Richard has two potentially ideal properties to enjoy and the location and beach access can’t be beat.

Excellent location! Wonderful view! Spacious for family of seven.Odd smell was the only real downside. Once house was opened up it helped.Loved being able to walk to Nye beach and the waterfront and close beach access.Short drive to surfing!

Great location and roomy home. Loved watching sunsets in the outdoor tubs!

Biggest negative from the start was the smell. We bought air freshener to help. We loved the view and outside deck which made the trip. Lots of updates needed especially the kitchen. We had problems with the toaster oven and would recommend just getting a toaster which takes up less counter space. Couldn’t figure out how to use gas fireplace but googled it and it solved the problem. I would recommend the place just for the view and just bring air freshener and candles to help with the odor. Or even bring your toaster if you’re driving!

I was a little underwhelmed by this listing. Possibly because we ended up not having time to enjoy the hot tub or soak tubs which looked amazing. The home itself is in need of a deep clean. Not as fresh as the pictures looked. And possibly needing a little updating, especially the missing/cracked grout on kitchen counter was gross.The bathrooms were great and the showers were fabulous. All the bed were reported as comfortable. My kids enjoyed the speakers and having a dance party.

This rental property accommodates our family of 10 perfectly. This is the third time we have returned and we love it.

This was the 3rd annual trip to Newport,OR for our family. We travel from Washington and Idaho each year to celebrate July 4th at the ocean. This home, by far, is the best we have rented!! The layout of the house has beds at each end so some folks can retire to bed earlier than the rest of the family and the noise does not transmit. This is perfect for the different ages reflected in the group, 8 years to 76 years. All the beds are in top shape, which was important to us after experiences at other homes. The bathtub hot tubs were such a hit! The home is beautiful, clean, well supplied with even 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, 5 bicycles in the garage and 2 BBQs in the garage. We have already reserved this home for next year in 2026!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-appointed property in Newport. It worked out perfectly for hosting both my younger and grown children and their partners along with my husband and I —there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and take in the gorgeous views from many of the rooms.Next time, I’ll encourage the family to rent the adjacent house as well—having both would make for an even more ideal setup. The neighboring guests were great, and everyone seemed respectful of the house rules and quiet hours. Appreciated the quiet very much!We enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities (except the fire pit—next time!) and loved the easy beach access and excellent location.10/10 would absolutely stay again!

Stayed here on the family vacation. Dragging the west coast of Oregon. The house was everything that was advertised and even more! The dual bathtubs overlooking the beach were really the icing on the cake. We were lucky and had great weather, the beds were comfortable and the house extremely clean and well-appointed. Can't wait to come back!

What a great place. Would recommend it to all. It was a great place for a family gathering. Can't control the weather but on nice days it would be more fun. It was what we needed for our extended family weekend. There was a problem with one of the sinks but the landlord was on top of it. Thanks to Richard for such a nice place.

Came for our siblings and spouses yearly get together and decided to try a new place. The home is beautiful inside and out and everything was clean. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. It is a walk to the beach but not far at all. And being oceanfront was perfect. View was beautiful. Also, the owner is just a message away. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back.

This was our 2nd stay and is the absolute best way to enjoy the beach. The view is spectacular (rain or shine); gorgeous house and the owner is a dream to do business with.

both properties were beautiful or what I could see of our Air B&B. Our B&B was double booked and we were pawned off on the second house that had no hot-tub which was our soul reason for booking 1130 SW Martin st. The owner allowed us to use the hot-tub,made us feel awkward to have to share the hot-tub. on a lighter note the neighbors were pleasant. owner gave us the wrong pin to the house so i had to recall to get the correct pin. the only compensation that he was going to offer us is to wave the cleaning fee to which I haven't seen. The property was beautiful,but the experience was rather lacking.

This house could not be in a more beautiful setting. We were lucky that the weather for January in Oregon was mid-fifties and sunny which just added to the wonderful time we had. Richard was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is very well maintained and well appointed. We had a great time and really appreciate the property that Richard has. Thank you!

This property had everything a guest could want and MORE! So pleased with all of the amenities and location. We will be back!

Staid here with friends and my partner for my birthday, it was everything I hoped for, I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Loved our short weekend at this house! Somehow lucked out with the best weather in January. Hot tub was great. The real jewel is the soaking tubs. If you haven’t sat in a steamy soaking tub overlooking the ocean at midnight, are you really living? Communication with Rich was excellent. Grateful for your property

We love this house, it works great for families! It not only has a beautiful view, but cliffside tubs and hot tub! It is close to Nye Beach!

The location of this property cannot be beat. It's nice to watch the waves from the sitting rooms and the tubs are a deluxe experience. Convenient walking distance to beach access and Nye beach shops. Furniture and fixtures are slightly dated but everything was in working order, clean, and sufficiently stocked.

Home is beautiful, but wasn’t good for our family. I contacted the Host before booking and asked about one of his properties. If it was wheelchair accessible, he directed me to the Martin house to be wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair needs to get in and out of the home easily. Not the case here there are three stairs going into the mudroom and three stairs going in to the front door. No ramp! Yes, the house inside is all one level and accessible.Getting in for my sister was a complete nightmare after we had already booked this location. Not everybody can do things without their wheelchair. Some can, some can’t, my sister can not. After getting in and settled. We found that we had to clean the fire pit out before we can use it, the pit was full of construction debris. views are amazing! We enjoyed our time together.

Overall a great house! Lovely views from the patio or hot tub, or just the living room. Close to the state park and beach access. Very well stocked kitchen, we were easily able to make all of our meals there. Loved the hot tub! Easy communication with the owner when needed, even got a slightly earlier check in because it worked with our travel plans, which I really appreciate when travelling with kids. Would definitely rent again!

Richard’s place is well kept, in a great location, and has excellent amenities. We’ve stayed here multiple times and look forward to future visits!

We feel fortunate that it was affordable, and available. Primarily Because the owner has a stewards mentality, and kindness.

you have 2 chopping/slicing knives that really need sharpening so as not to be dangerous The water dispenser on the refrigerator door needs someone to clean the dispenser tip with bleach to get rid mold (easy for most folks to miss!) The kitchen rug by the sink is extremely slippery-suggest something with no-skid rug. We never could figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace-maybe some printed instructions? missing HDMI cable to Roku-possible someone took it? Luckily, son had some extra cables in his stuff. It's the only way to watch live TV Hot tub had too much chlorine to enjoy it. Overall, very nice. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Lounging areas ample and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with just about everything you could need. Loved the deck & window areas overlooking the ocean. Might want to state that beach access is awkward/difficult for seniors so it's better to walk or drive to more accessible locations. Shopping and restaurants very close by to drive to.

If you want a house overlooking the ocean with relatively easy beach access and a hot tub, two outdoor bath tubs, and plenty of room and you don’t mind a bit of dirtiness from prior guests, this place it for you. It wasn’t terribly dirty, but it wasn’t fully clean. Hairs left on the bathroom floor, one bed had sand and dirt in it from before. Otherwise, it was just fine. We would stay again, but hope they get the cleaning situation sorted out.

The property is awesome great ocean views and coastal breeze. Lots of room for the whole family. Soaking tubs are a big hit.already booked for next year. Very clean and great property manager
