Oceanfront home with ocean view, private hot tub & pool, & washer/dryer

Overall the house was great. Maintenance and up keep left much to be desired. Many details of cleaning have been over looked for quite some time by the cleaning people.

Great house. Very clean. The pool was a little small, but it was right on the beach. The game was a great bonus to have at night and during the heat of the day.

The house and location were very nice. This is a place we would consider visiting again, if it weren't for the annoyance of ant infestation, first on the kitchen counters, and then in the pantry. Vacasa wasn't very helpful in addressing the ongoing problem.

The house itself was spacious, bright, inviting and had most everything needed. Location and tiki bar were great! Plenty of outdoor furniture! However, when we arrived the cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. Crumbs on counters, dirty floors and, ceiling fan in the great room was filthy. The garbage disposal wasn't working, there was a leak under kitchen sink, ice maker on the first floor wasn't working and there was mold in it, there were ants all over the first floor counters, towel bar hanging not mounted and usable, nailheads sticking up on top deck and soft boards on top deck need replaced. Sunday morning there was no hot water. We call the number provided for issues and someone came within 4 hrs and fixed the water heater, checked the garbage disposal and the leak and the ice maker. Couldn't fix the disposal, leak or the ice maker but sent someone the next day to fix the leak. Disposal or ice maker were never fixed. While at the tiki bar relaxing, found a note from the previous renter that said members of their party had a diarrhea bug while there and eventually most of my party got it during the week! When i turned the keys in I specifically told them the house needed a deep clean. With the fees we get charged for cleaning i expect it to be cleaner and the small maintenance issues the be addressed. If those 2 things were done as they should be this house would be excellent!!

The ring toss game near the pool, the tiki bar and the endless amount of outdoor seating are the main reasons we choose this house every year! The game room and spacious kitchen are great! The beds are sooooo comfortable! There is not much more to ask for!

The house is beautiful and in a great location. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was garbage still in the house and two full dishwashers of dishes that needed to be put away. I do not expect to pay over $11k for a house for the week to come in and have to put away dishes from the prior inhabitants and take out their garbage. Garbage was in the kitchen.. cans in one of the bedrooms.. dirty q-tip in the bathroom. Yuck!

We loved this house. We’ve vacationed in the outer banks for 20 years and have never stayed in the same house or area twice. We loved this place so much that we are crossing our fingers that it’s not already booked for next year’s vacation! We spent most of our time on the third floor in the kitchen, living room and dining area. There was plenty of space for all 13 of us! The porch off the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee! The pool area + bar was our favorite! It was the best hang out spot and the swings around the bar were the perfect touch! We brought our flattop grill and we made almost every meal on it with our whole group hanging out by the bar while meals were prepped. The location to the beach is great. The community boardwalk right next to the house is so convenient!

We booked this to celebrate our Gramma's 70th birthday, and it was perfect for our multi-age group! Highly recommend!

The house was nasty upon arrival. Beds did not get made, trash everywhere, there’s a grill in the pictures but not the same grill that is at the house, blood on bed skirt, mold on shower curtains, out of 10 TVs maybe 4 worked, microwave did not work, internet did not work half of the week, one refrigerator did not get cold trash was left in kitchen, dishwasher on the right side of the sink floods half the kitchen, bathrooms did not get cleaned, mold on shower curtains, the drains in the bathrooms were nasty and gross. I would not recommend this house. There were 15 of us. This was by far the worst house we have ever stayed in
