Oceanfront Cottage, Stunning Views And Private Walkway To Beach

The cottage was perfect for our beach week. Well-stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, nice linens. Unfortunately for us, our timing coincided with the storm Debby. We were able to get some time on the beach every day, but due to the heavy rainfall and wind, we spent many hours in the living room of the cottage. If the weather would have cooperated, we would have had a delightful trip! My favorite part of the house is the covered deck with rocking chairs from which you can watch the ocean waves.

I was worried about it being a duplex, but we never heard a sound from our neighbors must be soundproof walls . The house is very nice. Would definitely rent it again.

Perfect beach location, exactly what I was hoping for. Perhaps it was a little small for my family of 6 but overall, we got along great and loved our little duplex. Never once heard the neighbors. Overall wonderful choice. Loved our stay.

Gulliver’s place was perfect for our yearly family vacation to the Bogue Banks. There was 5 adults that stayed and we didn’t feel like it was a small space due to the amazing back porch. That portion of EI is so secluded, so you are always going to have space on the beach to setup a tent or two. The house had everything we needed from pillows and towels, to cutlery and kitchen appliances. The rocking chairs on the back porch are a nice way to wind down after a long day on the water.

This duplex is spare but in good taste with a lovely view of the beach and comfy furniture. The beach on this part of Emerald Isle is uncrowded. It is about 5 miles from downtown. The kitchen is well stocked. I was wary of sharing the porch since it is a duplex, but luckily we co-existed with the other family nicely. Be sure to bring your own supplies...soap, dishwasher soap. The master bed is very comfortable!

We have stayed at both sides of Blue Heron. Gulliver’s side is definitely more updated! We had a total of 6, including 4 teenagers. The sleeping arrangements were a little tight, but the rest of the space for was just right! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were very nice, and the views are incredible! The beach is a 15 second walk- so close!! If you want to be away from the downtown area of EI, this is the place to be! Gulliver is a great host and even sent back a necklace I accidentally left. We would absolutely rent here again. Thanks for a great stay!!

We had a wonderful experience with this rental! The house is very clean, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms immaculate. The best part: the views were absolutely incredible!!!! Direct beach access made it super easy for our kids to run back and forth to the house, and an outdoor shower and hose helped keep down sand in the house. The desk even has a privacy screen to separate this duplex from the other side, so it really felt like a stand alone property. Comfortable chairs on the deck overlooking the ocean. We will absolutely be back to rent again! Thank you!!
