Oceanfront and Soundfront @ The Point on Emerald Isle

Another summer we are blessed to be able to stay at Endo Mo for our family vacation! The house was perfect as usual and no stay would be complete without some amazing sunsets, even after stormy days! We enjoyed fishing and swimming at the Point and didn't even venture over to the ocean side this year. As always, check-in was easy and the house was meticulous. Can't wait for next year's trip! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family.

When my sister and I walked into this cozy, beautifully decorated home, we immediately knew it was going to be a special week. Just sitting on the back deck, watching the lemon pie-colored butterflies, monarchs, dragonflies, pelicans, herons, egrets and other sea birds.......such a feeling of complete peace enveloped us. It was like someone had hit the mute button on life....the only sounds were the sounds of the birds and the distant sound of the ocean. Every morning, a brisk 7 minute walk brought me to the ocean's edge, where I watched the sunrise, feeling as if I were in a live watercolor in progress. When walking between the dunes behind the house, my sister and I discovered thousands of tiny seashells,bringing back childhood memories of summers on the shores of Lake Michigan. The stretch of beach on the inlet just past the sign proclaiming No trucks beyond this point was our favorite, because it was deserted and made us feel as if we truly had our own private beach. We loved just sitting there in the sun, watching those amazing blue topaz colored waves, watching the pelicans diving for dinner, seeing hundreds of birds sitting together in comically organized groupings, and even seeing a pod of dolphins very close to the shore. Thank you, Faye, for sharing your magical home with us and for truly being such a delightful, warm,caring person. It was a week we will never forget.

This is our second year staying here and we love it! It feels so homey and the views can't be beat. We will never stay anywhere but the Point--great shells, fishing and peaceful vibes! Faye has taken great care in her home and to being a gracious host. Thank you for another wonderful vacation!

Wow! What views!! We usually stay strictly oceanfront, so this was quite different. Surrounded on three sides by water. Was fun to watch many people fishing and the boats that would anchor in the sound. We beached it a couple days on the channel/sound side and really enjoyed it as it’s definitely a little calmer and quieter than the ocean side. But we love the ocean side too, and it is a bit of a hike over a couple dunes to get there from this home. As to the home itself, it’s beautifully decorated with large windows all around which allowed for the great views. It was so clean and very well appointed. Has a great deck with plenty of furniture which was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets. You can’t go wrong here!!

The view alone was amazing…the house was very inviting and cozy with everything we could need. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and the property owner couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. The sunsets were breath taking right dead center of the back porch overlooking the water.

The week was really amazing. The beach house was located at the end of Emerald Isle, the view was amazing and just perfect for our family. The house was clean and the owner was easy to contact to answer any questions we had.

The view is amazing and if that is what you are going for you will NOT be disappointed! The house is great as well - clean - no bugs, which is a HUGE plus for me. :) The walk to the beach is a 20 minutes in the sand, which can be difficult (even my 12 yr old was tired) so be ready for that!
