The beach house was stunning and perfect for our weekend retreat! Truly loved the ocean view and peaceful mornings on the back deck with coffee. Would be a place I would stay again if we come back this way.

We love spending time at this beautiful beach house. The owners are fantastic and beyond gracious.

The house was well worth the drive from Michigan and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay near Ocean Springs. Some things to take note of if you plan to stay a week; you will eventually need to buy toilet paper and perhaps laundry detergent if you're doing laundry. We had 3 adults and 4 kids so there was plenty of space. If you have mostly adults though, the pull out sofa and/or rollaway beds may not be their favorite to sleep on, but it works. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of bathroom and beach towels. The cargo elevator was also great! The chairs on the beach were also really nice to have. Our kids enjoyed going out after dark and looking for crabs on the beach. All in all, it was such a nice spring break for us! And the owners were so nice and very easy to communicate with! This beach house was a fantastic place to spend a week at. It was perfectly laid out for our family. The open concept allowed for us to cook and play games at the same time. It also offers a comfortable living room for watching movies when we wanted to relaxing in the evening. It has a wonderful covered porch for times when you want to be outside but out of the sun. It was wonderful to have our own beachfront. The sunrises, sunsets, birds, and dolphins were incredible to see. The hosts really thought of everything to make our experience perfect. They were very responsive and provided information for things we might like to do and see while we were there. Downtown Ocean Springs offered boutiques, restaurants, and places to get great cocktails and listen to live music. We visited an alligator sanctuary where we touched an alligator and went on a fun airboat ride. The seafood and barbecue were fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home. House was very clean and roomy. Beds were very comfortable.The only issue was when we washed our white fabric. The water turned it brown. This was an easy fix but just was not prepared. The quiet beach was a nice peaceful retreat. Biloxi is very close and had plenty to do.

The house was beautiful and the host had the right stuff for everyday use. We didnt need a thing except for food. We had our annual spring break with the kids and Grandparents. Everyone had a great time, from back porch sitting, to kids playing on the beach, water was a little cold but they didnt mind. We will definitely come back.

The house was lovely! Beautiful. Clean. Relaxing. Just the right amount of amenities. Could not ask for something more perfect for what we were looking for. The host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with!

Such a great place to stay! Host communicated well, place was clean and a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The private beach brought us and our family many hours of laughter and great conversation around the fire pit and kept our grandkids busy exploring and playing morning and night. Highly recommend!

The host had the house very well stocked and the location was amazing. Instructions were easy.

One thing I loved about the host is that whenever I had a question, they were quick in sending a response.The house was well furnished, and very comfortable, and had good mattresses to sleep on. Even the firepit on the beach was ready for us to use! The only downside was there were overhead lights that were out and needed replacing (lights i couldn't reach.)It is a place I would highly recommend! Hoping to come back again.

Our 5th stay here, it is a delightful home. Hosts think of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit.Sunrise and sunset views from the deck are amazing.Host is extremely responsive and helpful. Will be scheduling our October 26 visit in the next few days!!!

From the moment we stepped into this amazing home the view was captivating! We have been to many beach properties and honestly this is one of our most favorite. The home was very clean and Irene & Clay were very responsive with any questions we had. The beach is so close and it’s so very private! Our favorites were the sunrises and the sunsets. Being able to enjoy both was exceptional. The wildlife welcomed us as well as the sun would peak over the water in the distance. This home was very spacious and very well stocked with so much that we needed and were so happy not to have to buy including spices and soaps, cleaning products and even paper products. The beds slept so well and the decor was so wonderful- very beachy with vintage furnishings that just made the whole stay even more perfect. The house has such convenience for unloading luggage or groceries with the lift too. The first day, we booked our second stay! There’s a precious gazebo for morning coffee too and the back porch is so wonderful with a huge swing. Plenty of beach chairs and a fire pit. They thought of most everything. It’s our new sanctuary. LOVED the lift! Extremely helpful for getting everything up into the house and reverse when leaving.Owners are pleasant and responsive.Setting up 3 TVs, as no cable / satellite provided, was a pain.Power washing of next door house (same owner) was an almost all day event... then the backpack style leaf blowers struck for both houses!Seemed to be in flight path.Gnats.Internet outages.Windows in the two bedrooms on the west side need privacy / blackout curtains... if I can see out, they can see in. Also curtains or blinds for back doors... again, a privacy issue.I know this place had nothing to do with it, but road was being repaved all week so had to deal with that heavy equipment noise.NOISY neighbors (three sets of them). The water in the house was atrocious!! It was brown and stunk so bad we had to get an air freshener. The owners informed that it may be brown due to it being well water and the water tables, etc. But the smell... wow! Any future renters, make sure to take drinking water with you!!I just wanted a quiet, relaxing vacation... it didn't happen.It could have just been a fluke week, but for me, after paying the that I did, it stunk... literally and figuratively!

This is our second time staying here. This property is just so beautiful and welcoming. We love the layout of the house. Beautiful windows with views of the water. The bedrooms were all tastefully done. The kitchen and baths were stellar. We look forward to another stay.

Loved our stay here! The property is neat and clean with all the amenities you’ll need! The lift made it a breeze to unload and load everything. The outdoor grill made cooking relaxing and enjoyable! We especially enjoyed watching the dolphins and the short trip to Horn Island in our boat.

Beautiful house with open spaces to spread out. Large dining table seats 10. Huge kitchen with gas stove, 2 full size ovens, plenty of prep and cookware and dishes. Cozy living room with HD TV and reclining sofas- perfect for family movie night. Large porch with swing and rockers for relaxing and wave/bird/dolphin watching. Gas grill for cookouts. Gazebo closer to beach has another swing picnic table. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing family vacation!

The property was beautiful

The house was absolutely beautiful and as I’m handicapped I really enjoyed the elevator and ramps in and out the doors. We were 10 women and there was plenty room to sleep and move around. Really enjoyed the chairs on beach.

We really loved the house. It was exactly what we were looking for, away from all the crowds. My family really enjoyed being right on the water. I'm not a water guy but enjoy the peacefulness and the back porch was perfect for me. I knocked out 3 books on that porch while listening to the Gulf waves. The house is stocked with everything you might need for your stay. There's a nice living area with a large screen TV and multiple streaming options if you happen to catch a rainy day. I highly recommend this location.

We had a wonderful time here. The home is very bright and open. The porch is an excellent place to relax and watch the ocean.The beach is a mere 40 yards from the house and very accessible. This property has everything that a family would want from a beach house on the Gulf. I highly recommend it!

Lovely spacious beach house directly on the Gulf with a private beach and the convenience of an elevator. The home is clean, comfortable and one of our favorite beach destinations.

My husband and sister in laws came to relax and that is exactly what we did! This home is just gorgeous! Drinking coffee in the morning was my favorite part. :)

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The house and property were beautifully maintained. It was very peaceful. Enjoyed walking the beach. We even used the fire pit and Adirondack chairs on the beach even though it was cool. Very thoughtful touches and amenities. Kitchen was very well equipped for eating in. Loved the views from the porch and gazebo. Secluded but easy access to anything we needed. Even played some of the board games in the closet. Checkin checkout process was a breeze and Clay was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for sharing your home away from home.

We rented this place for a girls trip to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. It was absolutely perfect. We had everything we needed. Check in and out was simple. The view was amazing. It was so nice to have coffee and tea available too!!

This was our second stay at Sandhill (we've stayed three times at properties managed by the owners) and it was wonderful once again. We were slightly worried this trip might not live up to the first, but that fear was definittley misplaced! The house was very clean, very well-presented and well-appointed. It was the perfect setting for everything we wanted to do for our beach vacation.

The Sandhill Beach House is a beautiful place. Off the beaten path. The neighborhood is very quiet. This is a great house for people that like to stay in and cook. Beach is right out the back door.

We feel like we are coming home , 5 stays in 4 years. Could not ask for a more welcoming home. Great base for bird photography. Exceptional neighborhood of lovely homes. Hosts think of everything. Great Ocean Springs shops, Walter Anderson Museum and shops, Shearwater Pottery all outstanding. Back next fall.

The house is wonderful! Comfortable and spacious, with lots of natural light. The elevator is a big help when moving in. The beach was uncrowded and closer than it looks in the pictures. What a great stay!

The photos really don't do the place justice- the home is stunning! Such a beautiful place, clean and comfortable amenities, and the layout allows the perfect setup for lots of space, as well as the opportunity for gatherings. We loved the porch views, the private beach, roasting smores on the beach at night, and kayaking with porpoises. We hope to get the chance to return!

House was great! Updated and beautiful! Right on the beach! The house was very well stocked, beds were very comfortable and house was very clean! We loved having two refrigerators! The fishing was good! The water was pretty brackish when we were there but I’m told it’s not always like that. Beach was great! So peaceful and quiet! The water is shallow for a long ways out (nothing over 7 ft for as far out as our kayaks went) we enjoyed catching shrimp and crabs in our cast nets! And had a fire right on the beach! Definitely one of our best vacations full of memories!

This beach house was even better than pictured. Beds, furnishings, appliances, many other details that the host has included to make your stay wonderful and seamless.The hosts were easy to get a hold of when needed and very attentive. Beach biting flies were avoided when we realized they only came out when water was still and at certain times of day. Everyone enjoyed their stay!
