Ocean Views w/ Amazing Open Floor Plan

We loved our stay in Cayucos! This pet-friendly home was the perfect setup for our family gathering during Christmastime. It served as a great homebase for our central coast outings and home cooked meals with our four adult children.

Excellent host who really cares about the comfort of the people staying at her place. The house was clean and has a very well supplied kitchen. It is conveniently located with an easy walk to beach access and a quick drive to the center of town.

We had a good week in Cayucos. The property was mostly as advertised. Good location, being a short walking distance to the beach -- longer, but manageable walk into town. There are a few things to be aware of -- most noteworthy being that the rental house is divided into two rental units consisting of an upper main larger portion, that we rented, and a lower smaller unit that was also rented at the same time. The lower unit communicates with the upper level via an internal stairway that is closed off so that neither is accessible from the other -- and each has its own separate outside entry. The front yard area is a common area -- the sides and back yard areas are separated and basically only available to the main unit -- but the fact that there could be people below the main unit means that the house is really being shared. We had no problems with either of the parties that rented the unit below, but we knew they were there, and our activities needed to take that into account. The bunk bedroom had only one set of bunk beds, not two as advertised -- for us this was not a problem (there was an extra mattress on the floor plus an inflatable mattress with linens). The kitchen was well equipped, except the advertised toaster was never located. The environment is spacious and comfortable -- contains a generous amount of the owner's personal items -- feels very lived in. The owner was welcoming, helpful, and responsive.

The entire experience was almost effortless. Host was friendly and helpful!
