Ocean Melody 2 - Fully Equipped, Walking Distance from Beaches, Garden and Pool!

We stayed at Ocean Melody 2 for a total of 12 days in January. It is situated a ten minute walk, or 5 minute bike ride to the entrance of Marina Ballena National Park where a beautiful beach offers miles of fine sand for walks, swims and plenty of spots to sit amongst the soaring palm trees and watch the waves. As well amenities such as stores, banks, restaurants and shops were short walks or bike rides away. Massi and Adriano provided detailed information regarding Ocean Melody 2 and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The casita was thoughtfully organized and with many screened windows we rarely needed to use air conditioning. It had a well stocked kitchen making food preparation easy. But by far, the finest part of our stay was enjoying many hours in the spectacular garden that was completely private. From early morning coffee on the raised sitting platform watching an array of birds take flight, to frequent swims in the private pool and quiet dinners outside in the evening warmth, the property was a tranquil tropical oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Uvita and are already planning our next visit.

We had a great time and especially enjoyed the little resident kitty who welcomed us from the minute we arrived! The bed and outdoor furniture were all very comfortable. The couch/pullout bed left a lot to be desired so we mostly stayed outside and didn’t watch any TV in the evenings. But that was fine because we got to watch the monkeys instead!

We lived this place. It was just what we needed for the two of us. Bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook and the outdoor setup was incredible! We are already looking forward to returning. Don’t hesitate to book!

The place was really nice! The property is well maintained and the host provided all the information needed to access it. It had a nice porch and the garden was beautiful. The pool was clean and it offered a cool place to relax. Behind the property there is a forested area where we could see tucans and macaws in their natural habitat which was awesome! I’m glad I was able to get to stay here!

The outdoor space was super relaxing, and it was amazing to see monkeys and colorful birds while sitting outside! and being able to walk to the panaderia, and beach was such an added bonus.thank you!

Great location, great pool, great grounds and complete privacy for a great price. All you need for a couple at an affordable price with an added bonus of Maca’s in the trees above the property. 1km walk to the national park entrance, a.k.a The Whales Tail. Loved our 4 night stay and Massi, the host, was fantastic to deal with. He provided very thorough instructions for the rental. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Such a pleasent stay at OM2. Beautiful property with the national park as your backyard. Hosts extremely helpful. Bikes were great for cruising this fantastic beach town. Pura vida.

Right at the edge of the jungle, we saw endless animals . from monkey to macaws ant toucans, even crabs. We ditched the car after two days as planned and walked everywhere after that. Beach is close, as are plenty of restaurants, laundry, even a barber at the end of the street. It's small but perfect for those who spend their days exploring and return to a wonderful pool before dinner.

The place was a bit difficult to find at first, but if you read Massi's instructions (which are long) you will be able to find it. The property was gorgeous and the home was small but had everything you need. We enjoyed spending time on the patio and new elevated reading/yoga area. The home is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the National Park, but then it takes another ~20 minutes to get to the Whale's tail. Overall, the place was perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

The property was very nice and secluded. The pool was wonderful and we really enjoyed laying in the hammock in the cool evening. The ac in the bed room was a great after a long day out in the sun. Plenty of wildlife around but still not invasive. Close enough to walk to several places but in a quiet little area minus the construction next door. Definitely would recommend this little gem!
