SUMMARY
Our beautiful beach-front home has unobstructed ocean views from the living room, gourmet kitchen, master and first level bedroom. Enjoy all 3 of our decks, plus your own private beach area with plenty of seating, lounging, fire pit and hot tub. 2 Dogs OK! Unfortunately, no cats. Sleeps 8 (6 adults max).

The home is a gorgeous 3 bedroom + 3 bath oceanfront home, located directly on the beach, with a gourmet kitchen and 2 living rooms giving you plenty of space to spread outwith your friends and family. Soak in unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean from almost every room in this house. We also think you will love having your own private beach area that includes a firepit for beach bonfires and hot tub. *Note: A neighboring property is undergoing construction, expected completion date unknown. Allowed construction hours Mon-Sat 7a-5p.*

MAIN LEVEL
You enter from the street/garage onto the main level that is one large great room with a designer kitchen that includes high-end stainless appliances, fantastic dining space, and a living room with a Smart TV & gas fireplace, all of which have panoramic ocean views. We have plenty of seating in the living room for your friends and family to spread out. This level opens to a deck where you will spend timing watching surfers, pelicans, and the almost daily sighting of dolphin pods. We have a queen-sized murphy bed on this level. We also have a desk and unlimited highspeed internet if you are working remotely. Rounding out this space is a full bathroom with surround shower.

UPSTAIRS LEVEL
The upstairs level has a master bedroom with a king size bed, Smart TV, panoramic ocean views and an oversized deck. The second bedroom is located on the street side with 1 full bed and 1 twin with trundle bed and a Smart TV. This level has one full bathroom accessible to both upstairs bedrooms with an enclosed shower.

DOWNSTAIRS LEVEL
The downstairs unit is rented as part of the house, but has a totally separate entrance and its own mini-kitchen, dining and living space, making our house ideal for 2 families to share or for families with older kids who may need a little more space. You enter the downstairs area on the beach level through large sliding glass doors that open onto a patio. Downstairs has a 2nd master bedroom featuring a King size bed with an ensuite full bath with surround shower. The master bedroom is open to the living room and ocean view. The downstairs has its own living, dining, and kitchen space. The kitchen is smaller than the upstairs kitchen, but still very functional (*Note - no dishwasher or stove/oven in the downstairs kitchen).

THE BEACH
The beach level has its own private sand area, that comes with chaise lounges, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit for bonfires (wood not provided), hot tub, outdoor shower, dining area, and grill. Our private beach is behind a barrier of rocks, that fronts the public beach which has a great surf break for boogie boarding or surfing. During low tide you can hang out on the public beach or go walking on the beach. Our house comes stocked with boogie boards and sand toys so that you can take full advantage of our amazing location. This is truly the ultimate Southern California beach vacation spot. Please note you are not permitted to climb over the rock barrier, but there are 2 public beach access points ½ block in either direction of the home. Just eight homes to the Cassidy street stairs, beach days made simple.

PARKING
The garage is a 2 car garage that includes a full-sized washer and dryer. *Note that the garage has a low clearance of only 6 feet. *COMPACT VEHICLES ONLY.*

This means full size trucks and larger SUVs like a Suburban will not fit in the garage. If you have a high profile vehicle, you can park directly in front of our garage at anytime since no one else is allowed to block the garage. If you do park on Pacific, make sure not to block anyone else's garage and watch for the street sweeping signs). Oceanside currently sweeps the streets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month and will ticket your vehicle unfortunately.

LOCATION
You are a 5 minute walk to the vibrant restaurant and shopping area of South Oceanside. If you need more options, you are 1 mile to Downtown Oceanside to the North and Carlsbad Village to the South. Our home is 40 miles from the San Diego airport and 50 miles from the Orange County airport, allowing air travelers 2 convenient airports to choose from. We are just 6 miles to Legoland, 33 miles to SeaWorld, 40 miles to the San Diego Zoo, and 60 miles to Disneyland. Please inquire with any questions regarding your stay.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The downstairs has a separate entrance and is not internally connected. The downstairs master bedroom has a large opening in the wall between the bedroom and living area to allow for ocean views from the bedroom. All homes in Oceanside sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos… however you always have your own private sand area in front of the house regardless of the tide. If you have a larger vehicle, please measure before trying to enter our garage so you don't damage your vehicle or our garage.

    Great beach home with private beach. My dog loved it and couldn’t wait to swim. Our SUV didn’t fit in the garage because it only has a 6ft clearance, but we always had parking in the front. We were also able to walk to different places, including a farmers market. Very safe and quiet area with park and coffee shop at walking distance. The only negative is that the property smells old. They have remodeled and taken excellent care of the home, but the smell was bad. Also, the shower outside wasn’t working to wash out any sand but a shower is accesible from the garage. The water temperature does change if someone else is using the restroom. Don’t flush the toilet if someone is in the shower.

    Our family had an incredible stay at this beachfront home in Oceanside! The location was unbeatable—and every evening ended with the most breathtaking sunsets right outside the window. We even got to see a pod of dolphins, and the binoculars from the host came in quite handy for that! The weather was perfect throughout our stay, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.Whether we were lounging on the deck or taking a morning stroll along the beach, everything about this place felt like a true getaway. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape by the water. Can’t wait to come back!

    Start to finish, this stay was 5-star - our favorite Oceanside trip of all! The house was beautiful, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay - from boogie boards and a fire pit to washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is huge, but so cozy and inviting - it was the perfect space to relax and unwind.We loved the beautiful weather and scenery on our daily walk for coffee and breakfast sandwiches - but meals on the patio with the Pacific as a backdrop were just as heavenly!I spent hours watching the sea (THANK YOU for the binoculars!). We saw dolphins and sea lions just off the back of the house, and I nerded out with my Maritime app, identifying boats and ships as they passed and learning more about them.The views, as stated in every review, are bliss. The beds were SO comfortable, and there is nothing quite like drifting off to sleep at night (or during a midday nap) with the Pacific Ocean as your lullaby.

    This rental was by far the best experience we've ever had. Sean was incredibly responsive and when we noticed that the umbrellas would not stay open I asked if he had any extra assuming they'd be locked up somewhere. Two immediately showed up from crazy fast Amazon service. It was a difference maker as there would be no shade otherwise. The upstairs bedroom was too warm the first night, even with the AC unit on. I asked if there was a floor fan anywhere and then one showed up a few hours later. The downstairs level was a fantastic bonus as there were four of us, and one couple stayed down there with the main floor living area and kitchen as our common space every day. Would be perfect if you wanted teens/kids to be there! The wifi was perfect. Cell is spotty due to location. We made use of the fire pit and sandy area around it every day. The house is not close to a true sandy beach, but you can walk to one that is two miles in either direction. We walked 2 miles south to Carlsbad beach, spent the day and Ubered home. The PCH bar and grill has surprisingly GREAT food and a lovely speak easy bar and that is within walking distance. For nicer dining, we ventured away for that. Also, Carlsbad Village has some fun casual places. There are not enough words for how great our trip was. The views, the house layout, and the multiple decks and beachy seating area were so fantastic. The difference maker is Sean and you cannot go wrong with a rental from him.
