Ocean Front Home With Spectacular Views!!

The property was perfect. Hosts had lots of things on site to use for outdoors fun. The view was gorgeous and so peaceful.

Karl was awesome to deal with and this place did not disappoint! I don't think you can get closer to the water without actually jumping in! It was clean and comfy and we really enjoyed our stay.

The home was tastefully decorated and well stocked to accommodate all of our needs. Our host was wonderful. Beautiful views in a lovely home. Check in was a breeze. Beds were comfortable with crisp sheets!! The amazing deck where we spent our time with family enjoying the gorgeous weather. We hope to stay again when visiting family in Bellingham.

Stayed here with my parents and boyfriend for a weekend vacation / getaway. The property is gorgeous, and the home is huge and cozy and spacious! We took advantage of the kayaks when the water was calm enough, and rode the bikes down a few miles to check out the neighborhood. Grilling on the deck at sunset was beautiful, and we had fun & bonded over some of the board games in the game room. Long story short - we'd love to stay here again! We may get some more family together and come back next summer. Thanks Karl!

Spectacular experience from beginning to end. Karl was very helpful in answering my questions after booking & met us at the house to let us in/show us around. The setting is stunning, water on one side and views of Mt. Baker on the other. House has everything you need to enjoy time outside: a large deck with plenty of seating options & very big sun umbrella as well as a gas grill. We used the paddle boards & kayaks to get out on the water. We also enjoyed walking in the meadow across from the house in the morning, watching movies in the bonus room at night and falling asleep in the comfy beds listening to the sound of the waves. An incredibly fun & relaxing vacation! We definitely want to come again next summer!

We enjoyed our 4 nights at the beach! Karl was very responsive and met us at check-in to give us a tour of the property and all the amenities. Plenty of space for 8 of us to spend time playing games, watching movies, grilling and enjoying nature from the deck. We didn't see the sun much, but still had fun with the paddleboards and kayaks (some of us tried for the first time) and appreciated that life jackets were provided. 5 stars all around - thanks Karl!

This property exceeded expectations in every way. We were immediately blown away by the view when we walked into the house and then we learned all of the fun things the owner/renter had available to us. Amazing. This was an outstanding location and super comfortable. I will stay here again for sure!

The house is gorgeously set right up to the water and the deck offers unobstructed views. The beach was quiet but not empty (lots of walkers), along with plenty of water life and a bald eagle that perched for a night. There are binoculars and a telescope for viewing so no need to bring along. The kitchen had everything and nice touches including a bottle of wine. The neighborhood has really nice natural walking paths and is situated in a boating community. Bellingham is 20ish minutes and a really easy commute. We went to the nearby casino which was fun and came out even (always a plus). There are a few features in the house that could use updating, mainly the bathrooms, but I wouldn't let that dissuade you! Beds are really comfortable and there's a bonus game & TV room that is spacious and has really nice, detailed maps of the area. The owner met us and was very responsive both before and during our visit. The first floor bedroom is deluxe, with its own view of the ocean and entry to the deck, perfect for ocean breezes.

Should be replaced as it was like sleeping on coils.Overall had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Our family spent a perfect long weekend at Karl’s place. The views are unreal! Kitchen and home are perfectly stocked. Our kids spent hours beach combing and collecting treasures. We really appreciated access to the kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets etc. Karl was a great host. Can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere at this property. The weather was warm and the skies clear for most of our stay. We spent a lot of time on the back deck, watching for jumping fish and seals. I've never kayaked on the ocean before, so we took advantage of the kayaks at the property to paddle around. We loved that you can walk the beach in both directions to search for shells and rocks. The house was well stocked. We used the bbq to cook fresh oysters from Taylor Shellfish Farm as well as salmon we purchased at the Bellingham Dockside Market. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!
