Ocean Front Home in the Heart of Newport

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the home, the bathrooms are huge and there are three living areas. It was clean and the views are fantastic. The locks on the second bathroom door don't work. We were never able to get the Rokus on the TVs to work especially in the living room. The door to the second-largest bedroom has poor privacy -- it's very thin and just has plywood nailed over the slats, poorly. The full length drapes in the second bathroom (where the nice tub is) are gone, because the curtain rod broke and wasn't repaired, so there's only a small valance curtain at the bottom to give any privacy. The ice dispenser in the fridge doesn't work, you just have to open the door to get some ice. Also note that to get to the large patio with the firepit, you have to go through the master bathroom and the master bedroom to get there. And instead of a real hottub you have those Cialis commercial tubs (lol). They do work but no water jets, just hot water. There is plexiglass around the living room patio which interferes with the view of the ocean quite a bit. The roof was replaced at some point, and the wood from the old roof was stacked up next to the house on two sides, with rusty nails. A heavy wind storm blew a bunch of boards with nails all over the front lawn and parking area. B- for poorly maintained amenities and outdated decor, not returning.

From the house to the view, everything was amazing. My family would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

The home had an incredible view with beach access that we loved. The firepit, swings and soaking tubs were a huge plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

This house was great for multiple families to come together! Our teens lived in the soaking tubs and enjoyed the beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked. We all stayed cozy and warm in multiple hang out areas. The beds were soft and somewhat uncomfortable for those of us accustomed to firm memory foam mattresses at home. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay! Richard was quick to respond to a pesky clogged shower drain. Great house, amazing views and dog friendly! Also, Georgies restaurant is within walking distance, they have amazing food and great service.

The house is great. Second time we’ve stayed there.

Excellent location. House was clean and ready for us upon arrival. One shower was having maintenance done but still useable. Wasn’t sure about the bbq in the garage so wasn’t used. Would have liked (didn’t find) written directions for TV setup in living room. Outdoor tubs were a hit .

This place has a wonderful energy and we all feel thankful for the location and the comfort. We will be back!

Stay was good although very short. We only had one night and checked in about 7:00 pm

Fabulous view, very spacious, has every utensil and pan you could ever want. Wonderful tubs fire pit and fireplaces. Owner was very responsive and came out to get our electric fireplace going. Believe me the pictures do not do this place Justice whatsoever. Much more spacious.

This was a great space for a group with a range of access needs - all laid out on one level with lots of windows and a beautiful view. There were a few foibles but no big deal. A fairly well stocked kitchen. Check the garage for items you might want to use, we didn’t realize till too late that the hammock chairs were there. The outdoor bathtubs were really nifty.

Great location!The soaker tubs are the BEST feature! Movie room was an unexpected surprise. TVs in each room WOW (if rainy this would be a real plus). Please list the bunk bed closet room as comfortable for children under age 10 ONLY. Those bunk mattresses & futon are not comfortable for adults . Would be nice to know there was ample wood for firepit (we bought & hauled 4 morebundles there). The fridge & Stove are great! Nice to have 3 living rooms to spread out! So great to be able to bring our dogs!!!Overall GREAT place & we'd love to stay again!

This is a beautiful home with tons of space for our group of 10 to gather comfortably. The views are gorgeous! I highly recommend renting this property!

Property was super nice and had plenty of sleeping space! Everything was well cleaned and we loved the view!! Communication was easy and so was check in and check out. All us had a great time overall :)

Annual coastal trip with friends. Amazing view from master bedroom. Amazing deck with outside fireplace and seating with stairs to two bathtubs that are an out of world experience at sunrise and sunset. Sky chairs to hang and swing from. The tubs are not as pictured but well taken care of as weathered. Great amenities. Two fireplaces were great. Kitchen well stocked although could use some mixing bowls. Master bath had fabulous shower, heated floors and towel rack. Great entertainment room. Overall house was cozy but ran on the cold side. Could use more blankets for keeping warm on couches. Will be back!

We had one night in Newport and are so glad to have stayed here! The house was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly located to enjoy the beach and town.

…except for the lack of cozy throw blankets to really enjoy the fireplaces, cozy reading spaces & TV time! We went to local thrift shops to supplement … and gave the blankets to our kids who live in Portland. Otherwise the place is awesome as andvertised and we’ll be back!

Place was good.. not over the top fancy, but clean and comfortable. Great beachfront location, easy walk to restaurant and bar!

This house is amazing!!!!! Very clean, well organized. The fire pit and outdoor tubes was an amazing way to spend an evening. Can’t wait to go back. Master bedroom was huge and one of a kind.

Family trip. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, spatulas, crockpot, etc. My kids loved the outdoor tubs. View is awesome!

We always have such a great time here!! The tubs are the best and we love the comfy media room when it’s stormy!

Site was great except main shower was out and tvs were difficult to set up. But, overall was great stay.

Great location. We enjoyed being so close to the beach. The younger adults were able to access the beach using the path on the property. The older adults were able to walk a short way south to access the beach. There is a media room with a big tv and great speakers for “movie night”. Would rent this place again. Beds are comfortable.

Perfect for families! Location is perfect for activities and site seeing for all ages. House is fully equipped and the backyard deck over the ocean is spectacular!!

This was a great place to stay and had lots of room for people. I would highly recommend it and plan on coming back. My only suggestion would be to bring extra blankets if you want to be super cozyl

This matriarch of the fam, spent 5 days out on the deck/big room/fire pit. Heaven for me!! All had a blast!! We'll be booking again next year. Only thing to make it better is, screen doors installed ocean side and screens on the windows you can open thru out. Add TV in big room 💞🤗

Loved the house and location. Was nice to have bedrooms at opposite ends with common areas between. This let the early risers not interrupt those that sleep in. The trail to the beach at the house is steep/rough, but there is good access a block in either direction. Used the fire pit and outside tubs almost every night.

Had a fantastic stay at this one of a kind beach house. Tons of space and perfect location. Walkable to Newport historic area and Nye Beach shops which was pretty great. The views are incredible and the deck with a fire pit made for wonderful evenings making smores. The pictures are accurate and everything was quite clean. It’s an older beach home so not renovated to the nines but that actually means it had some character and was great for us. All of the important things were in great shape. Plenty of cookware although maybe could use a few more glasses. Also the bbq is charcoal (which was provided) which worked great but important to know. Would 100% stay again when in Newport.

A very spacious lovely home with wonderful ocean views, beach access, and everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We spent two days in the house. Location is amazing, we enjoyed everything from the house and its location. Would definitively come back.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. There was something for everyone. The kids, dogs, and adults were all in awe and having the time of their lives!
