Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stayed here with my husband an 2 children. The house is so clean and nice. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about- the beach is amazing and my children have been having a ball here- swimming and walking on the beach. Perfect!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I want to start by saying that Patrick and Sandy were awesome hosts, friendly and accommodating. The beach house was clean, beautifully decorated and conveniently located. However, the beach itself was not at all nice. The photos included with the listing are deceptive - showing the beach at low tide, it looks clean and sandy. In reality, at low tide it is covered in rocks and boulders making it extremely difficult (if not hazardous) to go down the ladder staircase and walk along - and impossible to swim unless you walk down the beach several houses. The muck that was left at low tide was smelly and gross. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and viewing the water, but had anticipated being able to swim right outside the beach house - this is not possible. Definitely not a place for young children - older folks like us will love the view, but will be sadly disappointed in the beach.
