Oasis in the Heart of the City - Private Pool, Spa, & Wood-burning Fireplace

Outdoor fireplace was equipped with plenty of wood and was very enjoyable! The hot tub heated quickly and we were also able to use the heated pool! The decor was very stylish. Kitchen was well equipped. The A/C and heat worked well. Location was very convenient to everything we did in Dallas. Only negative which we knew about ahead of time is the airplane noise from Love airport, but we used a sound machine on our cellphone. Beds were very comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

This property was the perfect blend of what our family needed for a very busy wedding week. - The check-in process with the owner was polite, easy, and very informative. I appreciated her taking extra time to make sure I knew how to best use her property, and to answer any questions that arose during the walk around. She was quite responsive if any questions came up during the week as well.- The home was meticulously clean (inside and out) upon our arrival and check-in.- Location! Location! Location! Our family was quite busy throughout Highland Park and downtown Dallas for the week, and this home was the perfect central location to getting everywhere. I also loved the feel of the neighborhood - great place to take walks and get some fresh air. Easy access roads through quiet neighborhoods made driving around quite easy. Super close to Love Field for flights as well.- The decor and overall ambiance of the home was inviting yet calming, and very easy to live in. The pool and hot tub plus outdoor fireplace made for fun family evenings to relax and enjoy each other. Whether we wanted to have a big family meal and play games, or relax after a long weekend of activities, this home fit the bill perfectly.I will definitely be staying here again on my future visits to Dallas! Thank you!

Our family really enjoyed relaxing at this VRBO over the holidays. Kids loved the hot tub and the house was very clean and charming. We will be back!

This was by far, the best house we have stayed at in the four years my daughter has being going to school in Dallas. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped with anything you would need to prepare a meal. When the BBQ didn't start my husband asked if by chance there were batteries in the house. Yes there was. But as nice as the interior is, the exterior is even better. There are comfortable seating areas, a wood burning outdoor fireplace and a pool. On the other side of the house there is a beautiful meditation garden. I wish I would have found this house during her first year of school, not her last, but we will stay here again.

We needed to be in West HP during our floor project, and chose Donna's home for 10 days. While Donna is a lovely person, her home is very poorly maintained. There are issues like every cabinet door falling off hinges, and ceiling water stains, etc. However, our biggest complaint was the indoor and outdoor infestation of mosquitos and chiggers. We had to leave early as it was uninhabitable.

We had a great trip to Dallas and Donna’s house helped make it so. Wonderful communication with her for anything we needed, even restaurant recommendations. House had everything you would need from kitchen necessities/accessories/appliances to nice beds, bath and beach towels. Had several generations with different agendas and location was great for all. Would definitely recommend if looking to stay in the Dallas area.
