Oasis @ Hefner - Glamorous 3BR with Radiant Pool

The layout of the house was fantastic. The pool was great and we enjoyed our visit for the most part. There were however several problems in the house. Not enough towels, leak under sink, no water pressure in showers or toilets,. There was a problem with no hot water and the air-conditioner not cooling. The dishwasher has several rust spots inside on the racks and the rust got on the dishes. I would check before scheduleing to see if these issues have been fixed. It is a shame because the house has a great floor plan and the pool was wonderful, but these things need to be addressed.

Very nice house. A few issues that we dealt with privately with Carolyn and she was very attentive and appreciative. We would have no problem booking this house again.

The property had great decor and the backyeard and pool area were great. Carolyn was easy to workwith. Even took an item that left behind to my granddaughter a few days after we were gone. Overall, spacious with plenty of places for visiting.

Carolyn was very responsive. 5 of my friends and I came down for the WCWS. When we saw the pool area and nice inside lounging areas we had high expectations! The house was very clean and roomy, however there were several things inside that could’ve been fixed before we arrived which I will communicate with the owner. Not the fault of the host, we could not use the pool because there were about 5 very territorial birds who dive bombed us when we got close to the steps of the pool. Carolyn reacted quickly when I messaged her and had someone come out and get rid of the empty nests in the tree. Even though 2 birds hung around, they did at least let us get in the pool for a bit. It was a great location for our stay but not certain we would return. Thanks to Carolyn for sharing this home with us.

Our family of 6 had a comfortable stay in this home. There are a few details that could be useful for future guests:- provide more large coffee mugs in cupboard- possibly replace or repair pool table. A couple of pool balls are missing & no rack to rack them up. Also, it is lopsided; the base legs are off-kilter.- check all cabinet handles & secure them tightly or replace them.- only one roll of paper towels was provided in kitchen - an extra roll is appreciatedThe sleeping arrangements worked nicely for everyone to have space & not feel crowded. The outdoor pool & patio area was very comfortable. We were able to enjoy a meal outdoors one eve when it wasn’t too hot outside. This location was centrally located for our needs getting to Edmond & Lake Hefner for events.This is an older home and just needs a bit of care for it to feel properly maintained.

House was great. But experienced so many issues that could have been easily solved if the host paid attention to previous reviews. Contacted Vrbo during my stay about my experiences. Spent 6 hours of my stay with the host and handyman fixing issues. 20 lightbulbs out, pool only heated to 73 after stating 85-90 (paid 300 extra for that service) remote blinds to show “ panoramic view of the pool” didn’t work. Told remote was broken so handyman had to manually roll them up and use string to keep them in place. Pool table had missing bal, no tack,chalk and all sticks had no tips on them. Remotes for TV had to be shared because others were broken or no batteries. Main light in pool table area didn’t work. No instruction book on how to use items. Very few condiments not even salt or pepper. Cookware was sparse. Dishwasher leaked. Saw a hairdryer brush full of hair. Showers didn’t work due to hard water buildup.Found clothing left under bench in main bedroom from previous guest. Not enough linen and very thin non absorbent. No shower products worth using obviously left from previous guest. No soap or shower gel. Lawn was unkept with 3 dead bushes in front yard. Front door was unsafe and only closed if you used added on manual lock. If unlocked it would blow open. Couldn’t use garage to park my car due to junk piled up blocking the entrance. After contacting host about all the issues, their excuse was that previous guests broke lost or stole the items. Don’t rent this place!!

Loved the house it felt like home. There was an issue with the hot water when we got there but our host was quick to fix the problem. We had a busy time of kids tournaments so it was nice having a fun place to come home to and relax and play. This home has gone on our list to use again as we are often in this area!

Such a beautiful home! I will definitely be back this summer to enjoy the pool!!

My stay was excellent very beautiful house. My son graduated from the army from Boot Camp so we drove from California to pick this house for our stay and I was very impressed if my son is stationed in Oklahoma for the next four years, I told my husband this will be our house. I’m always renting when we come out here. I had a very wonderful experience.

Spacious and functional home. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown OKC. Lots of huge TVs and very nice outdoor pool. Property manager was very responsive to questions and concerns. Good overall value.

Pros - A/C was awesome, roomy rooms, large pool, nice decor. Cons - minimal contact from host, no welcome basket or waters in fridge (we left several for the next guests), no instruction binder or how things work info, many lights and lamps were burnt out, fridge sounded near death, corner of range top broken, couldn't find pool light switch, no extra bedding blankets or fans (two extra pillows but no pillow cases), and only a few extra bath towels. Landscaping front and back extremely neglected. Property is not glamorous but could be special if the owner gave it the attention guests at this price point expect.

We had a staycation with 5 girls and it was plenty of space! We all had our own beds and the pool was nice to lounge in. Close to most things! Would recommend!

Location was great for us, close to the things we wanted to do. The pool was wonderful. Lots of big screen tv's, so everyone could watch what they wanted.

Great home great host

The house was awesome, great layout, awesome kitchen and bathrooms! We loved the pool for the entire family from 7 to 70! Host was totally awesome! House was clean and well appointed. Everything was as advertised. Will definitely stay again when visiting my family, it was indeed a great Oasis!

We were in OKC for a wedding, this property was super close to anything you may need. Also was just a short drive to the wedding venue we attended. Our grandson enjoyed the pool.

Our first time staying at Carolyn's property. Very timely communications from the host. We had everything we needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you Carolyn!
