Stayed Nov 1, 2025The accommodation was good. Only small downside was that the TV in the main room was really small and didn't connect to the wifi so we couldn't use it. Staying with other adults, it would have been nice for that TV to work when we didn't want to be in the company of others

Stayed Mar 11, 2020Where do I start. This place was so underwhelming and disappointing. The photos online made it look clean and comfortable but it was anything but. Firstly the apartment smelt musty and moudly. The ceiling in the outdoor area had severe water damage and was falling in. The smell was awful so we spent the entire week with all the back doors shut. We didn’t use this area as we were worried the ceiling would fall in. The bathroom was disgusting. Grime and mould on the walls and ceilings. The shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly for months and the sinks had thick grime in them. The bath towels had frayed edges. The bedsheets felt like sandpaper. The cushions on the bed were dirty and stained. All the taps in the place were so high pressured that even if you turned them on gently the water would spray everywhere and all down the front of you. It was so frustrating. The backdoors were so old and creaky that they were impossible to open. The couch smelt like wet dog, not to mention extremely uncomfortable. To top it all off, we had German cockroaches and ants everywhere. And minimal cleaning supplies ~ not even papertowel to wipe down a bench. We were supplied with x2 toilet rolls for a family of 4x for 7 days. Ridiculous. It’s clear that this place needs a seriously thorough clean and many things need repairing and replacing. We will never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Stayed May 22, 2019Renting this property was an easy experience from the start and all staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had problems with our buggy and staff immediately gave us a replacement to use while ours got fixed. The property is in a good location with great views. Very family friendly with affordable prices.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We absolutely loved our stay in Oasis 1. We have been to Hamilton Island 4 times before and always stayed in the resort. Those days are over! Given everything that comes with this apartment + buggy (normally $100/day to hire) + the ability to prepare meals in the kitchen, this is exceptional value. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. BBQ was great for dinners and full kitchen was a necessity with small kids. Buggy was so handy and made getting around so easy. The owner connected us with Valet services to arrange a car seat for our youngest. Very smooth pick and drop off from Valet too. After the cyclone, one positive is that this apartment now has relatively clear views of the water & sunset. The new IGA on the island is very reasonably priced and meant that we could eat at the apartment more frequently than we expected. Huge selection available. No need to order from mainland anymore. We'll be booking again for this year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay for the week. There was obviously still lots of cyclone damage around the island. Some feedback about the apartment- TV remote in master bedroom not working, venetians not clean, hair in plug hole, windows very dirty, hole in bathroom door, problems with dishwasher and bathroom door ( these got fixed by island maintenance while we were there), toaster shorted out electrics, fridge dripped water.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The two bedroom unit is spacious and big, like a house. It's also well situated on the Island. The patio was great to eat lunch and greet the local cockatoos. Hamilton Island is a great stepping stone to visit the Great Barrier Reef and for winter, the weather was fabulous.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely week at Oasis1! The balcony was fantastic, with the shutters that open out to a view of the water through the surrounding palm trees. We spent a lot of our time there enjoying the scenery. The inclusive golf buggy was an absolute bonus and highly recommended, no faults with it whatsoever. The unit was within walking distance of everything and loved its position. The shower was great with excellent water pressure The negatives are that it is getting dated and needs a refurbish, especially the toilet and spa in the main bathroom. The beds are not the comfiest, getting quite old and saggy. Pillows are great however. Cleaning of average quality, needs a thorough clean, especially under the beds etc Valet service and maintenance service excellent. One phonecall to say there was a faulty DVD player and it was replaced straight away. Would recommend but don't expect 5 star quality as it is dated.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This apartment was absolutely perfect - stylish, comfortable, and had every possible amenity you could think of, from two toilets to the INCREDIBLE patio area to a coffee machine. I loved that it was located a little way back from the main street as it was quiet and calm at all hours of the day and night, and since it came with a complimentary buggy you never felt far away from anything. We had groceries delivered right to our door by management, using Coles Online, and with the well-equipped kitchen we always had the option of dining in or out in style - one night we made an entire roast dinner! Accidentally locked ourselves out one day and maintenance was fast and pleasant about getting us back inside. We went old school a few nights and rented DVDs to watch on the DVD player. Other times we had music pumping on the massive speaker. We saw a lot of other resorts and apartments during our stay and I would still recommend Oasis 1 by a mile, and can't wait to stay again. Thank you thank you thank you for the most wonderful, relaxing, romantic holiday :)
