Oakside Retreat – Private Getaway with Huge Yard, Firepit and Game Room

Very cute concept. Host was responsive. Towels seemed a little dingy so we opted to purchase our own.

Nice stay in a clean, well appointed remodeled home. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed including a Keurig for coffee. Side by Side fridge with ice maker. No issues with entry or WiFi. Home is in an older neighborhood. It is close to Diamond Diner with classic diner vibes where we a very good breakfast. Garage has a great game area. Unfortunately this trip was in January and It was a little too cold to hang out. Just an FYI, the driveway has a steep incline and is pretty narrow. Lower riding cars or large trucks might have an issue. There is street parking.

Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Also the shampoos, conditioner and body wash in the showers were great.

This house is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and we had so much fun here. The host was so sweet and very attentive. Would love to stay here again.

Check in was easy, host was very nice and welcoming and allowed us to stay an extra night. The only issue is the game room was filled with bugs and spiderwebs but we cleaned it out and it was alright. Overall amazing stay!

Three ladies getting away for a long weekend found a perfect oasis. This is a beautiful, quiet, property with a large private backyard. Perfect to enjoy time outside with the fire pit, yard games, a cook out. This place looks exactly like the pictures, everything is spotless and looks new. We had no problems getting checked in or out and our host was promptly available to message. We all enjoyed the beds and having our own rooms was so nice to relax. The game room in the garage was a great assess !! What a nice way for us to have fun and activities without spending extra money. We were not familiar with Evansville but found this to be a pretty close drive to everywhere we wanted to go. It was easy to hop on the highway. We are midwesterners, so we are familiar with driving everywhere. Places we ate and enjoyed; Gerst (German food and a fun environment), Pangea kitchen (yummy pizza and deep dish), Big Top drive in (classic old drive in, giant sundaes, yummy burgers and grippo fries), Frankie’s (delicious breakfast), River city coffee (yummy coffee and adorable gift shop). We also enjoyed shopping and walking around by the river. A great meet up place to relax. Would stay again !

Stay was fantastic. A few things to note.-the buckets holding the light poles in the back hold water and will bread mosquitos, you should drill a drain hole in them.-pool table is way out of level-should hang curtains on front door and kitchen window-air freshener in the garage/game roomThese are very small improvements you could make and increase the experience even more.Great place would stay again

Exceptional rental. Everything needed was available. The game room was such a hit with the younger ones. We would love to rent this location again.

Bobby was great to work with. A few minor complications but Bobby was on it immediately. Decor of house was AMAZING! Outside was so much fun!

The property was nice. The garage was awesome! Had some issues with the locks but the host promptly took care of it. Overall we had a great experience!

This property was better than they described it for our Family. We enjoyed the game room, the beds slept great and it was super stocked with dishes and bedding. Wish the weather was a little warmer to enjoy all the outdoor activities they had on hand. WWould definately recommend!

The stay was as expected. We did end up needing more towels, but that was no fault of the owners. We really enjoyed our time.

Bobby’s place was perfect for our family stay in Evansville. The location was convenient and the house was exactly as described - clean and comfortable. Would def stay here again!

Our group of 6 enjoyed our overnight stay. It was a quick drive to the Ford Center for a concert. There was a little hiccup with the key code, but the owner was quick to respond and fix the problem.
