This property was everything it was advertised! We enjoyed every minute of our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very large and allowed for everyone to have plenty of room. It was also very close to beach and pool. The house needed better cleaning and furniture deep cleaning. Many perks like bikes and rafts were available for use. We Always used the same rental company but this time was very disappointed in the company. When a human had large poop accident in gated pool area (kids were also tracking it), and they didn’t help resolve issue and said it was HOA problem but wouldn’t give me contact number or offer to contact someone. My son and I used container of chlorine whips and found hose to wash area down. At the last minute my husband came and we had to bring a psychiatric service dog( Not emotional support dog) we notified realty company. We later was informed by neighbor that owner wasn’t notified. I would go Jekyll any day of week and in the past the service was outstanding. I know what happened in pool area was not a normal thing but it will keep us from using them again.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for 4 couples. The location and beach access were wonderful. We had an issue with the check in but it was eventually resolved. I would recommend this property.

This was a fantastic VRBO in an awesome little community on the southern side of jekyll. Great proximity to the market area and convention center, great pool, and really nice home. Would recommend to couples or families alike.

Requested early check in and/or late check out and several days prior and got confirmation on both the day of (a few hours before) which defeats the whole purpose given no time to plan ahead. Some sheets were dirty and lots of dead bugs in corners of floors which made me think the unit wasn’t cleaned right before we arrived. Communication from rental company was poor but overall the location of the house and amenities were great. Water pressure and temp not good in showers but we could deal with that. All that said, we had an amazing time and fell in love with Jekyll.

The house is so perfect for a stay at the beach. Very cute and comfortable for our family of four. The house is outfitted with everything you need for your stay. Beach towels, appliances and cooking utensils. The house was clean and comfortable. I suggest adding some thinner pillows. We always bring our own when we drive. The beach access is right by the house. The beach is so beautiful and peaceful. If you walk a mile south it becomes a National Geographic show with birds. The town has a number of local fish and seafood places. You can rent bikes and walk, jog and bike the many well groomed and clean trails. Overall this place is a like living in a charmed bubble life. One of our best vacations to date.
